AMD EPYC based on ZEN3 cores is to be officially announced forthcoming March 15th, AMD confirmed this. There will be close to 20 models that will drive the data-centers core crazy, ranging 8 up to 64 ... EPYC Gen 3 with Zen3 cores to be announced March 15th
I don't get why there is a 7543P and a 7443P, but not a 7663P or 7643P. I do see why there would be a 7313P, where maybe all you care about is extremely RAM intensive workloads but aren't otherwise heavy on CPU usage.
On a slightly more serious note, I'd be curious what the highest level of detail you can achieve on the 64c model using nothing but software rendering. Maybe at 720p, just to make it a little more fair.
A video has been done of that. Crying purely rendered on a the 64c epyc cpu, think it ran at 720p as well. Think the same here. Cause all I need is the board and cpu if the socket mounting stays the same. I have a X399 Taichi and 1920x. Doesnt seem worth it to get a 2990x since thats the highest my board supports.
RYZE MY TROUBLESHOOTERS!!! It will be an ''Epic'' experience when you end up on the boards again, asking about drivers and ram sticks.
