Sounds like a driver issue of some sort... I think CTR is looking for some software or drive that it expects to be there, but it cant find it in your memory... i think...

    Try these troubleshooting steps:
Are the following correct: AGESA version 1.2 on ryzen 5000, or is your ryzen 3000 / ryzen APU in the supported list?
Is your BIOS up to date?
Is your windows up to date?
Do you have .NET Framework 4.8 or newer installed?
While I believe CTR 2.0 doesnt need Ryzen Master, if the issue remains, try installing it then reboot and try again?

Disable antivirus? Run updates on windows? .net 5.8?

I am thinking your memory overclock is the problem.
1usmus warns that you need to make sure that your memory overclock is stable. It checks during the stress test for errors, and if it finds one, it may show this behavior.

Your ram runs at 3600. Does your Infinity Fabric run at 1800?
Is your ram in the correct mobo slots? Check the manual.

Put memtest on a stick and run a stresstest. If you get any errors at all, that means you need to downlock the memory. Even if your ram sticks can run 3600 - the memory controller on the cpu might not : /
Finally, if all that checks out, try messing with LLC anyway. While the current guide suggests Auto is fine, on my asus board i needed LLC3 to be stable in this tool. For MSI LLC3 is also recommended in the early guides... it may help gain stability.

Hi, thank you for replying! Will go ahead and try different clock values +/- 25mhz. Thank you :)

Its the voltage I got recommended by CTR. It also looks like a voltage increase will not give me a big freq increase compared to Profle 1. I reseated my cooler like 4 times now even with applying a factory new thermal paste. I did a diagnostic/tune run again. Came up with Profile 1 (4550, 1.250v) and Profile 2 (4600, 1.325v), while the last CB run again didnt finish due to temps. Here is my diagnostic log (shortened):

Does anyone have a problem with profile loading? CTR 2.0 RC4 starts with my OS but the clock is set only for one core. The rest seems to work on auto. I have to deactivate and activate profile again to load properly.

Enter 1250mv/4600MHz to P1, activate it and run diagnostic again.
If the temp still hit 90°C, than you have to upgrade your cooler with a higher-end.

Ive update latest bios with AGESA 1.2 (I have Ryzen 3900X)
Windows 10 Pro 20H2 19042.685 (Not latest but still one of them)
    Also latest AMD chipset driver
    .Net Framework 4.8.1
I run it as admin, reset bios, reinstall drivers nothing help.

RC1 works fine RC4 not work have no clue why)

Now 19042.804, dont change anything same error

Operating system does not see CPPC core tags!
CPPC, CBP, Cool & Quiet and Preferred cores should be ENABLED!
Also try reinstalling the chipset driver.

delete the relevant config xml that contains CTR's settings from appdata.

I know. I'm using a Thermalright Macho 120 SBM and if the voltage is higher than 1350mv my 5800x will hit 90°C too.
So I mean, if you want to make sure not to overheat, consider a higher level of cooling, such as water cooling.

Okay, first of all water cooling is pretty inferior to air cooling. Thats a big myth in the computer universe that water cooling is actually better but its proven MANY times that a same level air cooler beats a water cooler. My Dark Rock is pretty much top of the line. What Im curious about is that I can run 4600Mhz with 1250mV but an increase to for example 1311mV does NOT increase frequency. Does that mean 4600Mhz is my maximum to go? And BTW 1350mV is the maximum you can go in CTR because its the max voltage for the 5800X. IM running now 4600MHz/1250mV on both of my profile as this is the best ii can get

I applied all values as on attached picture but when I'm testing in CB20 only clock is changing not voltage??

Same problem here on 2.0 RC4. RC3 works fine.

    UPDATE: issue persists on RC5.

RC3 still gives the "CPPC core tags" message, but works fine. It doesn't display the "Source array was not long enough" error. This is the culprit, I guess.

What are peoples runtimes for the tune?
Its taking me 2 hours+ and I haven't been able to get a completed run because it takes so long and need to use the PC.
Takes about 2 hours to get to step 16.

The diagnostics finishes within 10 minutes.

Happy that it tells I've got a platinum sample thou :)

    ASRock B550 EXTREME4 + 5900x

Followed the guide to a T.
