If we lived in a perfect world and you could get get a 6700xt at msrp i would say thats a pretty good deal. The card is fast as 1200$ last gen gpu and it has even more memory. Shame really...

That's getting pretty concerning , PS4 and XBOX One were pretty low spec things even at their time of release but now they are basically getting a top end PC for the same price we pay for just a card

the mouse is slowed down to controller speed...(can't jump and spin around as fast)
    keyboard is same speed though.

Hopefully I can get one of these at the end of the year.
If not stuck with my 5700xt till even later.
Do not get me wrong, my 5700xt is a very solid ass card.
I just wanna see what this will do under a custom loop.

This may have been asked before, perhaps here or other 6700 XT related threads, but when will a review of these cards be released?

a range of products is more than one product.
mid-range = productS that sit between entry level and high end

who cares about the specs if you're limited to 30 fps and a controller.
    a mid-range pc vs a console ? not even a contest.
I thought about xsx too, specs per price are unrivalled, but good grief this is an awful way to play games.

30fps and a controller? I don't even want to think of that!

My card is a known model to fail: Asus Dual RX580 4gb. My friend has the same model that broke and Asus refuses to repair under warranty, currently discussing things with his attorney.
Mine started to show artefacts just watching youtube, I solved the issue by underclocking and undervolting the hell of it.

Here are my tables, try it out on the Randeon Software:
    For the core:
MHZ: 300-600-900-1125-1225-1250-1275-1300 (-60MHz from stock and a few adjustments to the scaling)
Voltage: 750-765-865-1000-1000-1000-1000-1000 (-150mV on the core and some adjustments)
    For the VRAM:
    MHz: 1250-1250-1700 (-50MHz)
    Voltage: 750-800-900 (-50mV)

Your card might be different from mine, but the basis is: lower your stock max clock by +/-5% (if 5% isn't enough, try 10% and lower voltage even more: less voltage less leakage through damaged paths) and then lower your voltage until your GPU crashes. When she does crash, give it 10 to 15 more mV than the value she crashed with.

Remember: undervolting and underclocking don't kill hardware, OVERclocking and OVERvolting does.

    Good luck!

Stop saying crap launches when crap doesn’t launch. There is nothing to buy.

    yuck.

    I'm playing Rage2 atm,
    first I tried max setting with a controller.It was a smooth 50-60 fps experience,with a sn30pro+.
then I went to a mix of mostly low + some med/high settings and kb+m,and it's just uncomparable running at 75-85 fps.not going back to controller and lower fps,no way. It's not only not enjoyable, but frustrating.
Played Jedi Order with a controller, again 1440p ultra on a controller,+50 fps,and it was a great experience. But when playing blair witch framerate was dropping to 37-38 fps and it was just nauseating.+45 fps is a must or else something that's supposed to be fun is an ordeal. Not to mention any type of game where you have to aim or move camera around at 30 fps.

Hardware in XSX is very, very good. But please, don't make me suffer through 30 fps played on a controller. If you believe it's better than a mid range PC maybe keep it to yourself.

What 30fps. 4k@60 minimum and 1440p@120 is the standard for XSX. Get your facts right. It kills mid-range.

not 4k.upscaled 4k.worse than 4K dlss by a country mile and not comparable to native 4K on pc.

    not 60 fps.
    on a controller.

last time you argued how your 30fps in The Medium on a console is better than pc running dlss at 60,you got corrected with facts and never replied.
    please,just stop.

hardware inside and what you do with it are two different aspects.consoles are a way worse experience than playing on a PC despite new cpu and gpu inside.

only thing it kills is joy from playing.

Live your life pal. You have any right to pay 1250€ instead of 500€ for the equivalent equipment. You choose. :)

All this talk of 'custom' amd gpus inside these machines, imo they're better called 'nerfed' amd gpus and for this reason i'll never get when someone starts comparing the concoles to our vastly superior Master-Tech. (from reds and greens)

you get what you pay for in terms of experience.
if it's worth half it's worth half.
you pay the difference with time.

oh no,the hardware is absolutely there.
but the experience - I wouldn't turn on a console if I had a pc with a 2060 or higher.

dude, intel is the cheap option now.the times when amd gave you more than you deserve with your money with 3600 and 3900x are over.
ryzen 5000 prices are just stupid.350 eur for a sixcore ? dafuq ! 10900f costs less ! amd is milking those poor bastards who bought into b450/b550 with hopes of getting a $300 octa core. surprise,it's 9900k all over again.
