Idk i think i saw 10700k's within less than 10% compared to this. You have one you'll know. That said its still behind 5800X. Lets hope it will priced bellow that.

Intel .. 19% average IPC increase.

Undying.... no IPC increase, looks like a 10700k

I wonder who will be right?

Let's just hope there is sufficient to meet demand whatever that will be.

In stock here in Norway too. 5 289 NOK

    10700k is 3790 NOK
    10900k is 5190 NOK

This is lowest price today and in stock.

Edit: I bought one, so I will eventually compare it to my 5900x and 10900k.

I think 11700k/11900k will perform pretty well with high performance dual rank OC'd memory. Like 4600c16 tweaked or 4700c17 :D

There is no reason to run this platform with slow 3200mhz memory. High frequency memory is the small advantage Intel still has.

It actually is what 10700k was supposed to be, seeing how this time it has functional PCIe 4.0. The 10k series shouldn't even have happened.

    the actual retail one ?
a couple of points in synthetics, and I think MT only.
in gaming 10700K is already as fast but lacks pci-e 4.0
    word.
    9th gen should've been i5 w. 6/12 and i7 w.8/16

    lol
the guy only wtites in intel and nvidia threads to say how bad he thinks they are

Am I supposed to be amazed?

If Intel can provide enough stock, it may be a winner. According to CPU-Z this one has an average of 100points single core increase, that´s 18% more compared to my i9-7920X@4,8Ghz. Still the same node approx. 3y later, that´s not bad.

If someone with 5800X can run CPUz bench 19.01.64 AVX2 (beta), we may see some possibly interesting comparison.
Or find out that this beta does not same way for AMD and intel.

But I would like to see it. And I would like to see power consumption change from non-AVX2 bench. (One Core at static clock comparison.)

Well it certainly destroys my 5900X in AVX2. 776/10802.

Is that the score of the 11700K? My 5800X gets 738/7375. Not that much better.

No, that's the score of my 5900X, the 11700K is in the screenshot (984/9737).

    Everything works great for gaming. Even a 2600, 3600 or 10100F. :D

From an Intel fan's perspective, of course you should!

So a 8/16 CPU with higher frequencies is nearly as fast as a 6/12 with lower frequencies. That's ingenious!

amd fanboys in 2019: a sixcore shouldn't be more than 250
amd fanboys in 2020: a sixcore shouldn't be more than 350

    enough said.it's a great sixcore.but it's still a sixcore.for 350eur it's a robbery when 10900f costs the same and 10700f sells for 250 and kf for 290.
friggin deal of a lifetime to wait for r5000 to get those prices, really.for 8700k/9900k owners this must be hilarious.can't wait for 11400f to match it for 170 eur,160-200 eur is the sweet spot for gaming performance.if you're paying 350 for a sixcore, you must like throwing money around.it's fine if you like it,but really, keep this to yourself cause it's not something to brag about.

I was more amazed at this 6 core beating my 8 core 9900K at most if not all tasks that I do, so there you go ;)
