    Hi all,

I am looking for new monitor which would be 32" 2K IPS one. Mostly I need it for 3D modeling and working stuff. I am not interested in games so I dont even need some high refresh rates etc. I am looking for some price / performance one.

For now I keep an eye on these:

    1.) IIYAMA 32" 2K IPS

    2.) AOC 32" 2K IPS

    3.) VIEWSONIC 32" 2K IPS

Which one do you reccomend? Maybe you have any other suggestions? This price range is around 220-280€, but it can even cost 100€ more if there is any particular reason for it, because this monitor will be in house for many years.

    Thanks for the answers.

    Best regards.

None. LG monitors only. Never look third party. Either Samsung for VA or LG for IPS. End.

Problem is to get 32" LG one. There is only wide ones which I dont want. Because in my case I need height too, not just width which you get with 34" or more.....

My BenQ would disagree with your assessment. (VA model)

I'm having my eye on the Gigabyte G32QC, it's VA though but amazing colors and decent HDR.

It costs 299,00 euro in Holland. Ordering it next week if they're still available.

I hated the Odyssey G5, stay away from that one. I hardly complain about colors of a monitor but that one was terrible..
I had great experience with Gigabyte, i can't remember the model but it was 27" 1080p 165hz TN panel. It had amazing colors, just beautiful and picture was very clean and sharp.

It goes much higher when the monitor goes into HDR mode, RTINGS said about 450.

EDIT: 456 cd/m² according to them was the highest peak.

Even HDR 600 is really bad, I do not dare to think about HDR 400. My mobile phone has much superior HDR blinding lights compared to my Odyssey G7. I cannot remember how many times I preferred watching Netflix/Prime on my bed instead of PC/Xbox.

You do realize Gigabyte G32 is using Samsung VA panel? It very similar to G5/G7.

Supposedly my phone is rated ~700 nits. It shouldn't be much better than G7 a VESA HDR badged monitor. I wonder if those certifications are kinda fake or whatever.:D We need better monitors, oled or mini leds, micro leds, or full array local dimming IPS. I will not buy mainstream ever again.

The panel is the Innolux M315DJJ-K30.

You are answering for Dell or Gigabyte one?

As second which concerns me is a curved screen used for CAD modeling, so lines aren't straight anymore and so on.... Or I am wrong? Thanks for the answer.

The Dell. You can try the Dell and see if you have any issues, else return it.

It's not IPS but VA. The panel is 32 inches flat. I have it and it's nice. But if you want IPS I am not sure what to rec at 32. I have the 27GL850-B which is IPS but at 27 inches.

    Both are good panels.
