    In a small press-statement, EA sends word it has completed the acquisition of Codemasters, known for their F1 and DiRT series games. The acquisition is valued at approximately $ 1.2 billion, EA said....

    EA paid almost 60% more for Kim Kardashian's crap company than for Codemasters.

    Well, they f***ed-up Medal of honor, Dead Space, Mass Effect now it's time for another franchises...indeed they destroy EVERYTHING!

    I bet they will ask money in micro transactions for every wheel of the car in F1 or Grid..if you want four wheels then you have to pay for the privilege.

    Sad news day. I played so many great Codemasters games: Micro Machines, Colin McRae Rally, 1nsane, TOCA, first few DIRT games, GRID (original), Overlord, Operation Flashpoint, Dirt Rally series, etc.

    The difference being that Codemasters is based in the UK, so it will still have it's own identity.
