Forza Horizon 4 is making a debut on Steam Next Month

I've been wanting to try Forza for ages. Good to know it's coming to Steam.

How bad can it be?

 

Everything is bad on ms but now that is on steam could change that. I also never tried the game.

 

There is nothing worse than MS store installations.

 

If you have the game on the M$ store and want to get it be advised you will lose your progress...

Sadly, Steam installs of games from the MS Store are worse than just using the MS Store, this is atleast the experience with PSO2 and FS2020 so far.

 

Great news, i can finally play it then, iv zero interest in the MS Store...and battlenet for crash 4 on pc

 

I'm down! Was close to buying it, glad i didn't, yet.

 

What a fun trailer, I miss the Forza series; they are both such great racing games!

 

Pop it on the wishlist and wait for a proper discount.

 

This is probably the only game from M$ store that i've really wanted to try/play but refused to install it though the ms store.

 

I don't even have the MS store installed.

 

Good news for all as this is one of those games that should never be limited by platform, so the more that get to enjoy it the better, and even though i have it on the XBX and MS store i will get it on Steam at some point just because it's Forza and you can never have too much Forza. ha

 

Btw is this the one with the Lego DLC?

Nevermind you do get the DLC but not sure if you'll need to pay extra for them.

 

Problem with the installation? Personally, I did not encounter any kind of problem.But if you ask me about the game even though I love racing games,apart from the very beautiful graphics, the rest of the game is a bit tedious I would say.

I've been playing it for over a year now and half the times I launch it it just cant lock to 120fps for no apparent reason, its often a jumpy 118-120fps, then next day its at 120 all day long, ms store either works like a dream or makes your head overheat, games launch and close like its the 90's in a good way, and so far they perform very well(forza, gears, halo, crackdown)

I wish they allowed us to turn off crossplay though, playing with console users means waiting a solid couple minutes for every race

 

iirc it's locked to 60 fps max isn't it? I could be wrong.
