LOL, tell me about it. I gave up on the hunt and stock trackers mid-January. I'll just wait until fall, not going to pay scalpers a dime.

Well I'm in Belgium, can't find one here or in the Netherlands, same for a PS5.

I have notify me's on the bigger shops and there has been no new stock since early december which I unfortunatelly missed by 3 hours.

At least you can buy a RX6800 for around 1200€ or a 6900XT for 1500+€

I had one of each for sale, had 2 calls on the Xbox with the 2nd being a purchase. Meanwhile, the PS5s get a million calls. Plus i saw a million Xboxes for sale but hardly any PS5s in my area

Sony have stated that the lack of component will stay way after summer, last week...
In the end we will have everything (GPU, Consoles, Phone) for Xmas :) like it was intended for... only 1 year late lol

I think you never been there, don't you?
Despite i don't like too much Poland for personal reason, it's a well developed country, even more than some EU founder's country in many point, and agressive commercial concurent.

If there ever was a good moment to quit gaming (in general, PC/consoles doesn't matter), it would have been this year. Too bad I'm too addicted to it.

I needed a second Xbox for my Son so I camped Target Best Buy and Walmart for 2 months straight looking for a Series S or X and finally got Walmart to allow me to order a Series S that was slated for over a month in delivery time but I ended up getting it in a bout a week. It's so much better than my OG XB1 that I don't even mentally miss not having the Series X. All of my games have been digital for years so I'm not missing the lack of a disc drive either.

It should be... but it's not.
Too much different prices, taxes, money earned, cost of life, laws...

Too bad for both the series X and PS5. For what they are they are incredible value for the money, and it seems at least Microsoft is doing what they can to make the series s/x remain viable options.

Well I mean I want an Xbox Series X and I'm hoping to get one at some point this year. I've just been sitting back and doing all the comparisons between the PS5 and the XSX. Here's what the Xbox has over the PS5...
    • Supports full HDMI 2.1 40GBPS (YouTube HDTVTest) unlike the PS5 @ 32GBPS
    • Loads games faster (YouTube Linus Tech Tips)
    • Runs cooler than the PS5 (YouTube Gamers Nexus) despite being smaller
    • Has a faster clocked CPU (Cyberpunk ran better on it as a result and wasn't pulled)
    • More backwards compatibility for older titles
    • Game Pass functionality so I can cross play games between the PC or Xbox.
    • Microsoft offered refunds on Cyberpunk, Sony had to cave in.
I'm sure the PS5 has some stuff up it's sleeves that the Xbox doesn't have now or in the immediate future, but asides from a couple of exclusives or your very one-sided argument I know what I'm buying...

True, without a game pass style service the PS5 doesn't interest me.

It's more of a console to borrow rather than own.

You shouldn't give up imho. I was able to order a PS5 on tuesday, and received it yesterday all thanks to a stock tracker.
It is the only way since stock is gone within 10 minutes.

The big advantage to this is Game Pass ult works on both PC and Xbox, which is great for me. I play a couple games online with my buddies on xbox, and there are always games I try out on PC under this service as well.
