Finally i was able to break the elusive 16k+ on Port Royal. It took me a complete week to tweak and find the correct combination of voltages and a whole lot of settings on my evc2 , tried one setting at a time until it was tweak to perfection and optimal clocks. 16035 port royal - https://www.3dmark.com/pr/815332
Congratulations Angelo, great result and great score, I'm still hunting elusive 15k hahaha Regarding the 3DMARK not sure if you could help me with that error which I'm getting "Hardware monitoring was disabled. Results without hardware monitoring data are not eligible for the 3DMark Hall of Fame." Reinstalled twice 3DMARK and drivers etc but still I'm getting same bloody error Thanks, Jura
Just done loop for friend in Lian-Li O11 Dynamic XL, we used Bykski Distro plate with 360mm HWLabs GTS360 radiator on top and Alphacool 240mm radiator on bottom, CPU we have used 10900k which is dud, won't OC beyond 5.3GHz and without going beyond 1.55v on vCore and CPU block I gave him my Bykski whuch I planned to use, temperatures in Cinebench or RealBench been in 75-80°C as max and my friend has been quite satisfied with that, for GPU friend got KFA2 RTX 3090 SG which I flashed with KFA2 390W BIOS and for GPU block I have used again Bykski Waterblock, his GPU seems is dud too, won't clock as high as my RTX 3090 GamingPro and scores are quite disappointing too, temperatures on GPU I have seen 42-45°C, VRAM been in 65-70°C, KFA2 RTX 3090 SG will do stable in games 2115-2130MHz when you are not power limited and in power limited games or benchmarks usually sits around 1965-2010MHz Will need to do few more tests and benchmarks when my back stops hurting me, we have been working on his loop something like 12 hours non stop hahaha Hope this helps Thanks, Jura
Hi there my friend , it is a known bug with systeminfo and some systems , they still working to get this bug fix at Futuremark / UL , https://community.hwbot.org/topic/2...any-3dmark-fs-ts-runs-on-rtx-3090x2-sli-help/
I'm getting that error every run, doesn't matter if its custom or normal run, hate that hahaha Yesterday I built for a friend loop and on his PC everything is running fine no issues, just my bloody installation of Win10 Time for reinstall I think although I don't want to do that because I will loose way too much doing that Thanks, Jura
Ok so the Inno3D RTX 3090 iChill x4 showed up, it's a toasty and rather loud card. Temps hit 83c with Heaven, same with Cyberpunk, Vram hit 90c after 3 minutes of Cyberpunk.. I think this card needs to be put under water. I have 3 120mm intake fans blowing directly onto the card (011 case), didn't make a difference.
Yes they do really need to be liquid cooled or in an open/huge case with massive air circulation with fresh air
@schoolofmonkey Try place 120mm or 80mm fan on backplate or where are VRAM chips,it should lower VRAM temperatures a bit but I agree you want put that GPU under water and use waterblock too Inno3D or Colorful are two coolers which I think are not very efficient with cooling such GPUs, KFA2 RTX 3090 SG have similar problems or issue with cooler, although seems is very nicely built but cooler is way too loud and temperatures are in high 70's to low 80's on air, with waterblock temperatures are under 50's with slim 360mm and 240mm radiators and 10900k with 5.3GHz in same loop Hope this helps Thanks, Jura
I flashed the Gigabyte Gaming OC BIOS to the card, I'm noticing much more stable clock speeds, though the fan curve is more aggressive, but when you cool the card you don't loose clock speeds like I was getting before, it was really odd. I faced my AC at the card, temps went down so did clocks, I saw 1650Mhz with a temp of 75c, removed the AC, temps hit 83c clocks went back up to 1725/1755Mhz, with the Gigabyte BIOS the cooler I get the card the higher the clocks go, I saw 1900Mhz when I had the AC pointed at the case. Never seen anything like it before. I have got WC planned out, will be sticking a 360mm ex RAD as a bottom intake, using EK-Quantum Kinetic FLT 240 D5 mounted in the 280mm side mount (011 case).
Just noticed there is a newer bios version for Nvidia RTX 3090 FE. Only a couple of weeks newer than the release version and I have noticed no difference. Downloaded from Tech power up version number 94.02.32.00.02
Why is my 3090 boost higher ad 1440p than 4k with max out settings. Boost up to 1950 ad 1440P and boosting 1800 ad 4K Game running is Euro truck 2 simulator Max out settings on a Asus 4K 120 Hertz monitor...
Because you are more cpu limited at 1440p meaning, the gfx card isnt always running at max output so isnt as hot and has slightly more power (watts) available. This allows more headroom for the boost clock.
I have your same GPU! done some testing, in stock my max temperatures are 73c with 25c amb temp, in overclock with a +250 core clock the GPU even if it's on 62c doesn't go above 1850, quite strange, so I checked TDP usage in gpu-z, so I found doesn't hit the 370W rated for this card but instead remain at about 350W. As you say the cooler temperatures doesn't reflect in higher frequencies, and in my case with any memory overclock have lower performance maybe because hit PT more easily or thermal throtling of memories. It's safe to flash your BIOS? ...I'm afraid for the warranty, have done in the past a custom biosmod for my ex-GTX970, but she was a 400€ card hahaha
