Will the 1st driver of 2021 be more then a common update?

They changed in 2006-2007...

With nvidia do you still have to sign into an online account to make it all work?

 

Only geforce experience not the control panel, i'm a fan of nvcp simplistic but comprehensive too.

 

The layout is fine, but I still find it too slow when selecting and applying settings. I still say it would be cool if they made it a tab in GFE without needing to sign in for the driver settings of course. Speed it up a bit. The sign in would and could still be optional for the extra features.

It's not that bloaty....if anybody is gaming on a computer in even the past few years and upgraded, they have plenty of RAM to not have it be an issue. Plus you could just avoid using that half of GFE as mentioned.

That way it's all consolidated into one launcher also. I think it would be cool to see. Maybe even have a "Classic" or "Modern" install option.

This exactly. I have nothing against Nvidia cards Have used many. 2080 Ti going to be folding soon. That CP is slow and in need of updates.

What's that about? Why can't I even see Adrenalin 20.12.02?

ROFL you made my day. 6900XT loses to 2070 super with RT enabled. That means unreleased RTX 3060 12gb will beat all AMD cards with RT and DLSS enabled. I am glad I have waited. RTX 3060 12gb is the new upcoming mid-ranger king of 2021. I can't wait.

 

Amd super resolution could change the game. Lets wait and see how that goes. Until then disable rt and watch amd cards fly.

 

no 6900xt wins by 52% native vs native
2070 Super with DLSS Q would match 6900XT. with DLSS B/P it would be faster
which is kinda sad.I used to own 2070S,with +2000MHz oc and dlss Q I could have Control completely playable mostly in the 50s,all settings maxed.
That said,6900XT is $1000,even more now due to shortages.

what is super resolution exactly ? it's been 2 months since launch and we haven't heard a word.
I think they knew RT needs some sort of upscaling/reconstruction,every RTX game since launch has it except for path traced Q2RTX

LOL, I feel like such a noob, all I had to do was click on Win10 driver link to see the latest driver! Man, I dunno where I can hide myself, how damn embarrassing!

I was thinking AMD messed up(kinda did...) before reading a post way after the "updated design"
AMD blocking all drivers I said HAHA

 

Any news on a new driver release ? I'm having a lot problems with wattman crashing and we do need a performance driver ,my 6900xt needs a bump in performance as i feel the drivers are holding this cards too much

Anyways, there could be a release either tomorrow(Hitman 3) or on the 28th(The Medium).

Let's hope it will carry with it some nice new features(FidelityFX). Some stability fixes would also be great(hard-locks sometimes during DOTA2 under DX11 and stuck on minimized under DX9)...no resetting of settings...and no checking for updates when set to Manual.

EDIT: AMD FINALLY fixed the drivers page!!!
