i have a 5700 if they stop supporting it ill go team green

 

It wont end the support but lack off features on rdna1 one would expect sr will come only on rdna2. Rtx 2000 also wont get sam.

 

None of the nerw features will be supported on anything less than 6000 series

when you buy computer hardware or tech in general then something better is always going to come along then people feel hurt by that

always gives me a little giggle when i see it

Im gonna be using my 5700 for some years to come and im happy with knowing it will eventually go eol and i wont get any new features

 

By your logic GCN didn't support RIS...

Super Resolution seems to be open source. So, it is a "maybe" in my mind.

 

I never said features wont come just that its not the way it usually goes

besides ray tracing does work on 1060 6gb and up on the green side so maybe something can be done with rdna

Hmm...thought we were talking about the Super Resolution... It won't work without RT for some odd reason? I read that it is supposed to help with RT performance, but surely it doesn't need it...
Don't expect HW RT for my card, obviously. Though, won't the Vulkan solution work through software also?

 

But AMD are used to remove some very useful goodies with the new drivers like AMD Fluid Motion, old AVIVO settings (deinterlace, denoise, flesh tone, dynamic contrast etc.), some old colour settings too. It's some kind of downgrade with the new video cards.

 

Dont forget the FRC. I'll never understand why they removed it from the driver.

 

It works through chill if you place the same FPS number both in min and max FPS.

 

Looks like AMD is blocking access to all drivers...

 

The main website and the "+" for getting to the drivers seem a bit messy but the driver links still work if you go to them directly.

I didn't believe you and did it and I'm like wtf.. I have all scripts enabled for the site, that's so weird.

 

Chill was there even when frtc was enabled then it was removed. Idk why people are saying its part of it when its not. Simple slider to limit your framerate when using freesync. Now i have to use rtss as a limiter.

 

No, it's not you nor your browser, it's the page that it's bugged like that.

 

Something does not feel right using it. It adds too much input lag games become stuttery like some power feature is turned on. Like i said there was a time when both ware within the drivers and frtc was much better.
