Hi All, I cannot turn off the RGB lightning on my Inno3D 3080 using TuneIT tool from Inno3D. Lighting part in the software shows OFF / Off and this section is inactive. Any solution to turn off this rainbow unicorn? I have turned off MSI AB, rebooted, etc. I have 3 GPUs installed in the system from different manufacturers. Thanks!
Thanks for the hint, I already selected stealth mode in my ASUS B550-F's BIOS, but that keeps on all the VGA's RGBs.
But did you connect your VGA's RGB header to the MB? I did not! I have this Armoury installed, but it doesn't detect any of my cards, since those are not ASUS, but EVGA, Inno3D and Gainward.
Hi, Yes I did try that, and then Armoury Crate as well. System doesn't recognize any RGB Headers connected, I cannot set any RGB lightning options for either the Inno3D nor the Gainward. Happy part is that Gainward's software allows you to turn it off, then you can close it. With Inno3D I have tried the following: - Connecting RGB header with 3-pin connector - Connecting RGB header with 4-pin connector - Connecting RGB header with both 3 and 4-pin connectors at the same time Still didn't managed to get any activity from the header - Aura, Armoury Crate, Inno3D TuneIT, nothing. I'm wainting on Inno3D Support's answer on this issue, looking forward to the solution on how to turn it off... Adam
You're right about the bots, but that's only part of the equation. It's an open market. There aren't enough cards to match the demand, so prices rise. That's a common law so far. Of course, you're screwed if you have nothing to sell. But if it's an hobby, as you said, you can sell your older stuff at a much higher price than you should have before this. I would've preferred the "regular" way too, paying MSRP or something close to it for the new stuff, but I guess it's the time. People could say the same thing about housing or whatever.
Inno3D Support got back to me and advised to update the BIOS on the 3080. They have attached BIOS file to the e-mail. It cannot be found on their website. Interesting, but I will give it a try...
Right but you can't have an Open Market survive if bots and resellers mark up their products 2x the amount. Nobody will buy and it will just hurt AMD/INTEL/NVIDIA etc. It's why they need a legal "time limit" to IMO "resell". It may even be limited to certain products that would be limited at launches. Why hide the fact that I want to buy a 5900x? It's a hobbyist thing anyway. UK did something, they are an open market. As I said though nothing will survive if this keeps happening with certain products. In the end it defeats the whole idea of an Open Market. They would just be forced then to resell the product at the exact same MSRP. Like I said it would be for certain products only for so long after a launch. Then after that time limit they could resell it at a reasonable price. It would curb it.....it would defeat the whole purpose for them then. They won't want to sit on a useless item.
Bad quality pic, sorry about that. Though I will probably return the AIO. There's pump whine at higher RPM which is distracting and it doesn't cool better than my Dark Rock 4 Pro. Also I've for testing purposes replaced all chassi fans with Noctuas and acoustics are way better.
Are you talking Graphics score or total score? on my strix I get 19111 graphics and 17009 total. 3700x https://www.3dmark.com/spy/17459324 but that is with my daily overclock stock: https://www.3dmark.com/spy/17459473 17983 graphics, 16199 overall
I have removed other GPUs from the system, and suddenly lightning option became active in the TuneIT software, so I could turn off the RGB without updating the BIOS. It is a good point that it stayed like that after closing the application, rebooting or even putting the GPU into another system. Hope this helps others. Still one thing I cannot solve is the RGB lightning on by Gainward card. Here I can disable it using the Expertool software from Gainward, but it always turns to default rainbow when rebooting, and only having the software in the startup turns it off. Any idea how it would be possible to turn it off permanently? Thank you! Adam
Question related to coil-whine like sounds from EVGA 3080 I experience a very strange noise from the GPU when browsing the internet, especially when moving the mouse over texts which are changing their colors, or when ads are on the screen which are changing periodically. The noise only occurs when I move the mouse or there are some changing graphics on the screen. I just recently changed my PSU to EVGA Supernova 750W Gold. Any idea what could cause this? Thanks!
Thanks! Im talking about graphic score, sry i did not point that out. This was my first run with stock 3080. https://www.3dmark.com/spy/17413055 This one with a +10 power and +165 core. https://www.3dmark.com/spy/17451334 This one with a +10 power and +165 core +500 mem. https://www.3dmark.com/spy/17463649 So i guess the scores are on point and my expectation were way higher than they should be, and now that i think of, reviews where done before the max clock patch... so maybe thats why i was seeing higher numbers on reniew units :/
Finally i joined the club got myself a gaming x trio after 4 months lol. I have to say i am impressed by its temps and noise levels, i cant hear the thing under full load on 1440p 144 hz on ultra settings on really every game i tried so far. Temps wont go higher then 70c and thats with default fan curve.
