Never tried because i disabled crowds to save on CPU time but i can see this as a precautionary measure to prevent people from making violent or sexualized screenshots with children.

Each major hot spot on the map still has bunch of hand-placed NPCs around.

Basically any NPC which isn't a braindead zombie traversing 5-15 meters to turn around and go back same way is hand placed.
I don't even miss the traffic, makes traversing between missions much easier and it's also not like cars did anything significant either other than being expensive backdrop. Mostly due to their quantity rather than quality, given they had literally 0 capability to operate outside perfectly clear roads.

A huge city with zero traffic... yeah, that's gonna help on the immersion.

The ai might be bad, but a large amount of NPC's is crucial to making a city like night city feel alive.

Raytracing generally does make the game look very good, but there are places / times where it makes the game look... wrong... like here, it gives the game this wierd glow

    Raytracing off

If I understand it correctly I believe it's bouncing the light up and adding edge highlights to objects, which makes sense for a brightly lit area, although looking closely it does appear to be lighting areas that should still be dark.

    Yep. It just looks... wrong.

It's quite obvious that raytracing is an addon, rather than the primary focus from the developers, as the non-raytraced graphics are far more consistent in its presentation, where as raytracing varies quite a bit... goes from looking absolutely amazing to the above, where non-raytracing actually looks better imo.

But the most important question is... How did you get that overcast weather? :D

In my game it is always sunny, except when it has to rain for some mission.

In my game the weather varies quite a bit - though it is sunny more often than not. Nice change from IRL where i live xD

Hehehe, I am with you, enjoying every tonality of grey for 3/4 of the year in northern germany. :D

Anyway, I think this is another bug that might or might not happen, I don't know on what it depends though. Also, if it rains and you restart the game it's gonna be sunny again.

I do not tested but looks good:
    Climate change mod
    https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/862
"Replace sunny weather with one of theses options : fog, pollution, toxic fog, clouds, overcast, rain

this is done by simply replacing the sunny weather with one option, and since sunny weather is the most used by default, whatever you chose become the most used in game

note that the weather still work normally and will still cycle, you just wont see flat clear sunny weather anymore, or very rarel."

Btw,you can ride safely on Npc's car (not in).Just land on their car and Hayoo,Silver! (something like that). :)

I too have regularly seen rain and even fog once. But yeah, usually it's just sunny / normal. But it is California after all, isn't it?

About the clouds, anyone else notice blocky clouds only when looking straight up at them?

From an angle they look nice and natural. I'll probably get the climate change mod anyway for the more clouds.

Nah that's a "bug" afaik, since it was mentioned that the clouds can be weird like that in a couple of youtube reviews I've seen.

In retrospect this game is exactly like The Witcher. Go to one beautiful location to the next and complete a quest. Same NPC's. Copy pasta. Mindless Zombies NPC's. BUT!!!!!! . The thing is.... they promised and advertised a lot more than what we got. We'll see in the coming months what they do. No way to get my money back... but post. I see how they thought this could work but...Nope.

^ liked for the Chapelle meme

Still, one thing this game has achieved: walking into "The Afterlife" for the first time, and hearing this:
(from about 00:35 on, sry timestamps don't seem to work)

And I knew, it was on.

Damn how are your weapons so high in DPS? I mean, my strongest weapon is as strong as your revolver, and I still walk through the game like a warm knife through butter.
Did you skill up the crafting all the way? How did you get iconic crafting specs, did you have to search for them?
