So what i practiced a bit was to change the camber and tire pressure to even out the tire temperatures while driving around a bit. This alone seems to help quite a bit and it makes sense since the tires need to get a grip no matter what you do with the rest of the car. Like Pirelli says 'power is nothing without control'. I'm currently tuning the Toyata Supra RZ 1998 which i fell in love with since the 1st Need for speed. I think that was in 1997. How the time flies when you're having fun.
I love the Supra as well, I got three of them in Forza Horizon 4, all setup differently, a drag version, AWD and a RWD with road setups, they are really hard to tune for racing if you max out the power with a single turbo conversion, the AWD car I have is a bit easier to drive but the RWD car is more fun i'd say.
i don t know if it s me,but i can t play a racing game while sitting on a 24 or 27 inch monitor, for me, 55 inch tv and a couch is a must for these games... Thats why i kept my racing games for my ps4, as i have gran turismo sport on it
Forgive me if this has been asked before, not been doing much gaming stuff for the last couple years, I did search and only found a post from 2018 saying to add an old profile to RTSS in order to have MSI AB OSD working in the game Could someone give me a pointer how to get it working please? It worked fine in the FH4 demo but not the full game, thanks
turn off the option for 'hide precreated profiles" and change forza4 hooking level to low. mind you, it only works on the demo according to many.
Is this game still worth buying or should I wait for FH5 ? I'd really like to get my hands on a new racer but this game is rather pricey, is the ultimate edition ( many monies more! ) worth it or just a bunch of useless tat ? [EDIT] Just seen that this is coming to Steam on March 9th so that's in 2 days at the time of writing. Will wait for that.
It won't work in retail UWP version for sure, once you undo precreated profile the game will kill itself at start. It does so as soon as any third party module is loaded in process address space (even without actually hooking anything). That's the reason why it is in built in exceptions list. Probably upcoming Steam version is not protected this way and will behave differently.
Good news, Steam version of FH4 is compatible with third party hooks/overlays, unlike UWP version: https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/rtss-6-7-0-beta-1.412822/page-154#post-5894134
Meh Steam version was the same extortionate price as the MS store. Good thing I got the MS store copy of the standard version for 60% off. Looking forward to having a go.
What's with all the DLC? Is it just "cheat" DLC to unlock cars without playing the game, or the cars only available through the DLC?
Had a quick go this morning before work. Game seems really cool and right up my street. Thought I would find the story stuff annoying but its actually been ok. Can't wait to play more after work and can't believe this somehow flew under my radar all this time.
This is so expensive..... never seen a racing car game this expensive before, and this game is not new either.
