    My condolences Unwinder.

    Does anyone have a link for the Beta4? The link that Unwinder posted is not working any more.

    Thanks for your condolences everyone. But life is going on, I'll return to development in nearest days. According to info from MSI my 6800XT sample is finally approaching Russia so I'll be able to work on finalizing Big Navy support in beginning of January then release new MSI AB beta. There will be also new RTSS beta, which will address stealth mode compatibility with some old 32-bit games (reported by @Astyanax here). Also it will fix crash on screenshot capture issue in CP2077 when in-game HDR is set to scRGB (reported by @Haldi here). Also I'll add optional graphs range autoscaling in RTSS overlay editor plugin.

    Stay tuned, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

    P.S. Sorry, but I cleaned recent repeating questions about 30x0 fan control from a few search haters and will do so silently in future. This thread is not intented for that, I mentioned a few times that it is intended for development news only. Everything you need to know about 30x0 fan control was posted in details before. So no need to be lazy.

    Nice, i've also noticed a few 64bit things crash with stealth, but only where the discord overlay is enabled for them. Life is feudal for example, i can't be certain its not a change in the discord overlay though.

    for now just spend your time with family for the new years.

    There is no 64-bit implementation for stealth mode, it is implemented in 32-bit hooking codepath only.

    So sorry to hear of your loss Unwinder, please take it easy and be with your family. You have done so much for this community and the PC community as a whole. We all understand and we can all wait for any future updates, family always comes first.

    Best wishes to you and your family for the future.

    o_O then thats highly odd, literally all i changed was setting stealth to off and LIFYO proceeded on to the main menu after the intro videos.

    GTAV would also crash randomly with stealth on, also a 64bit title, could it be the discord overlay is actually 32bit and loaded by a cef wrapper?

    Had the same crash when trying to stream Gris on discord, also 64bit, i'm quite sure discord is doing something sus at this point.

    Sometimes in The Witcher 3 (with RTSS) there's visible microstutter (looks like frametime unevenness or something) despite framerate and frametime being rock stable. Anybody notice this? I've been fighting this for about two years now... sometimes it happens and sometimes it's fine.

    Unwinder, is it possible to add a plugin that will show "hidden" clocks?

    Program link here:
    https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/thermspy.272617/

    there seems to be some rather ...interesting... stuff in this program.

    "NVENC Clocks (Current Clocks)"

    string.format("{0} ({1}) MHz", nvapi.clocks.current.nvenc_clock, nvapi.clocks.current.core_clock);

    I'm not an expert, but wouldn't the "nvenc" part imply that that lower "hidden" clock has something to do with the video encoding engine?

    no, nvenc runs at same clock as the cuda cores.

    This could expose the throttling cases where the overlay says its at full clocks but the power draw says otherwise (due to lack of power)

    @Falkentyne

    Can we avoid making this thread a branch of OC.net 30x0 owners club? No need to start guessing about voltage control principles here _please_.

    No need to delete anything and appologize. A few guys who actively discuss and try to guess the nature of "internal" clocks there at OC.net were responsible for derailing third party voltage database thread in the past with "support my EVGA votlage controller" nonsense. I seriously don't want to see them back here attracted with this discussion. And no, it is not NVENC clock.
    Happy new year!
