As posted in another thread, +100USD for a 3060Ti, +150-200 for 6800/XT or 3070.. over +200 USD for 3080 and almost 2000 USD for 3090, if found.

Ryzen CPUs between 100 - 250 + over MSRP/RRP. Before taxes, shipping or other government welfare funds.

2020 needs to end quickly... or roll back to 2018 and reinstall...

This continues to be disappointing news, especially when AMD boasted about stock beforehand. Is demand really that disproportionate? It might have been impossible for them to meet demand on TSMC between CPU sale increase in last 2 gens + lack of new Nvidia hardware on market, but this is beginning to take the piss.

you make some excellent points, but please consider that custom orders (Sony, M$) have a separate queue that went into full production before zen 3 rdna 2 and is still in prod. at original TSMC's 7nm fab.
AMD anticipated that those would be volume sales in excess of the enthusiast market. the enthusiast products are being produced at the newer fabs (two) in Kaohsiung. the newer fabs are in production while the finishing construction is still going on (because of Covid) full production at the newest facilities is eyeballed for January. and then allow for shipping times.

They had the chance to give some capacity to PC parts when (qualcomm?) pulled out a few months back and some capacity was freed-up. Nope, they chose to make more PS5 instead. Shrug.

As a business decision, hey, it makes absolute sense. However, it also makes me feel like I'm 2nd class. Dunno about anyone else.
