nvidia is waiting for 2GB modules so it isn't breaking the bank.

    they'll probably revise 3090 to 2GB too.

I just think they are comfortable with what amd has

1070ti and 2070s were both answers to vega 56 and rx5700xt

6800 is out and it's not beating 3070 on value per dollar or features

come on,we had no idea on cuda/tflop on ampere until it launched
and someone is already leaking rtx 4000 :rolleyes:

except 3080 will be faster at 4K than 3060 at 1440p
a 12g config would require a 192-bit bus,the card would suffer at higher res same as rx6000 cards do at 4K
a 320-bit 10G memory configuration with gddr6x is superior to anything in the 500-700 range

    I would much,much prefer a 3060 with 8g 256-bit

Some Intel Xe discrete graphics rumors ( buckets of salt, as with any rumor ): 6nm TSMC, 16 gigs, between 3070 and 3080 in performance at 399$, next year.

    better be january
but xe max mobile showed some promise

I might as well wait, the initial hype for 30-series/rx6000 is gone

only thing I'd buy at this point is a 3060ti

3080 has fantastic performance in every regard, but 320w is just too much
6800xt - great performer for 1440p,excellent efficiency but RT is just not useable without DLSS.Reference is unobtanium and partner versions are just crazy overpriced, close to $800
    6800 - not worth $80 over 3070.Just 5% faster at a $80 premium (twice as much for partner),same RT situation as 6800xt
3070 - should be 10g 320-bit,about the same power draw as 6800xt isn't great when 6800xt will draw the same and whoop its ass with SAM on

3060ti - well,it's good for $400 if you can find one.actually I'd much prefer to spend $450 on a TUF/Trio 3060ti than buy the cheapest 3070 like Ventus at $500.There's 10% between them stock, you can get another 5% back if you OC the 3060Ti.On 3070 you're gonna have to get a better card than msrp ones if you wanna OC cause you'll be close to 240W

Prices have crept up way too much across the board. Would love to see intel come out with something competitive at a super attractive price point.

We shall see it coming, 3080TI for ~ $1200, AIB models $1300 and upwards with no limit (up to 3090 prices).
Meanwhile Nvidia / board partners sell every card that leaves the factory, practically full saturation. For AMD as well, their CPUs sell decently I believe.
Also, Apple and Microsoft going for custom ARM based chips, Nvidia having acquired that company that helps with server hardware...
Honestly, from a business standpoint, I can't see how Nvidia doesn't make a crap load of money next year.

Gamer wise, rising prices are a totally different topic though.
Kind of expect the 3080TI again to reach 2080TI level in pricing, although I thought cards would be cheaper this gen in the first place. And then the market situation of 2020 happened...
I can just say, I believe this price level with Nvidia and AMD can be considered established now. I think, the next generations of cards won't really be cheaper, with neither AMD nor Nvidia.
Only Intel could mess up that scheme but that's a lower end of the spectrum issue, since Intel can't reach what AMD and Nvidia have released this year in a long time.
    So save up people...

Im hoping a 999 msrp for the 3080Ti, real pricing around 1100-1200.

Anyone noticed that Intel has gone little bit quieter since Nvidia and AMD have released the current gen cards ?
I wonder if they can match the performance of the competition or at least come somewhere near .
