No visible difference in my monitor when changing between 6,8 and 10bit display output options in my radeon panel.
If you have dark coloured eyes and are blessed with good eyesight, as is a big portion of the world population, you will not care. If you're like me with green/blue eyes and wear glasses, FRC will strain your vision and give you headache. Although both your eyes and colour calibration tools are fooled by this, the fatigue I experience while in front of these kind of monitors is real. I also think it's a marketing BS saying the monitor is 8bit on the spec sheet when it clearly isn't. Although it can display "accurate" 8bit range colours, it's done with FRC and it's not a true 8bit panel. This is done to make cheaper panels, but I'd prefer to pay more and not to go blind. You either have an hardware/software issue, or you're blind. Even switching from FULL RGB to Limited RGB I see a massive difference. That said, if you're not educated on the differences you'll never spot them.
