Man I wonder why they effed up so bad with this... It's not like it was a 2 year launch.
Either way, I still love the game so far, but I did encounter oh so many bugs; tbh I don't recall the last time I played something so buggy.

Game is an indie one. Not worth it of being called AAA.

Valhalla is the GOTY of 2020. CDPR failed badly.

your news doesn't cover the fact that their forum moderators or whatever those public relation idiots are supposed to be, insulted peope who bought the game by telling them to "play the game less" "you aren't playing it right" or "continue playing until your save is corrupted" add whatever insult you can think of after that last one because it was written in a very aggressive tone.
btw for your information you're supposed to just do the main quest line and nothing else, according to an actual employee of cdpr it's not an open world game and was never designed for you to go outside of your on-rails missions
(to me witcher 3 already wasn't one, I had a good laugh reading a cdpr employee admitting it)

the fact you cannot fix them means it overwrites data it shouldn't destroying it forever, not many games have managed to do this so badly
even in an heavily modded oblivion before we had advanced tools like skyrim and fallout4 have, I'm talking 2007 modding here, 13 years ago ! I had two different heroes saves with around 400hrs played on each before they became corrupt and that was with 255+ mods
I downloaded a savegame for skyrim to test mods it had all quests done all items in storage 158hrs long and works perfectly

if you liked GTA5 and still haven't bought 2077 watch this before spending your money
    Code:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsBrkLq31eM
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IPRjzrHvak
if you only want really good graphics as a benchmark for your high-end pc you'll be pleased with the game but that's about it
if one day I can buy an RTX3080 (ti hopefully) I'll buy it, by then hopefully they will have enhanced the actual "gaming" in the game

There's rumors around about 6+ MB of file size and I even read about 8+MB.
Currently ~ 4.4MB here, and saving before each run (downloading cloud save backup via Galaxy), just in case.

But honestly, such a game breaking bug has to be dealt with instantly... "may be addressed in future patches" doesn't really stand up to "play long enough and the game won't let you finish".

WoW, never really knew that was what it was until I saw this. This happens to me as well. I was just thinking it was lag. Nice to see that this was just a bug.

I had to screen record and playback the footage in slow motion because I noticed during the stutter a red icon flashes at the top of the screen but it happens so fast you can't work out what it is.

I have over 100 hours on this game have crafting and moding components up the whazoo (level 35 Street Cred 50). Been doing mainly side missions; going out of my way to not do any main story missions and exploring every nook and cranny on the map. Only game braking bug, and mean game braking, is that one has to kill every last purp on a gig for the game to be able to recognize the gig was completed. Being able to accomplish the main objective without killing all those opposing characters is not recognized as being finished...the game stills informs that your character is still in combat. My main save file is just 4.4MB at this point as well.

The game is brutal at times. Only once did I come across a purp that was not killable. Took them down to 1% and that was all I could do. Since I had not completed a side mission in which that same purp was involved, not being able to kill them was rationalized as acceptable. They just posed quite the obstacle to account for to get the current job completed. The opposing forces sometimes come in anywhere from 5 to over 10 levels above where my character was. Felt so frustrated at times trying to setup lines of sight since the only weapon that could do any noticeable damage was a sniper rifle. Hiding behind cover and patiently waiting to land nothing but head shots was the only way or wait and come back to the mission when at a higher level. At one point while level 29 was put up against level 40 forces. Thankfully there were only 5. Each one took around 5 head shots (each shot registering 2,200+ damage) to down them. The frustrating thing was, with them being level 40 meant they dropped level 40 weapons. Those cannot be used till reaching level 40. Found out early on that saving those weapons above the current level was worthless. Upon reaching that required level to use them, I had much better weapons.

Minor irritants is not being able to save while in combat or while moving. I have to be totally still to be able to save. So those that are able to save while moving, if stuttering is the price, I will gladly pay it. Traffic, it can be seen off from a distance and is is a funny site to see. Cars will only travel to a certain point and then vanish, never reaching your viewing point (on the same highway). Upon reaching that vanishing point, the non-stop heavy traffic that was observed...gone; not a single car to be seen. When going up against police, reinforcements will materialize out of thin air. They do not arrive on scene like in GTA. Often times they appear right behind your character. If one is able to survive, after a while no more show up, the game concedes and the arrest warrants vanish even though your character has not left the scene. After one point in the storyline missions, my hair fell out. Funny thing was that when looking in a mirror my character had no hair (call me cue ball) but riding a bike my hair was back. This changed with patch 1.05. My hair is back when looking in a mirror. Only thing now is that I whish my hat was not on. When first starting out when looking in a mirror my hair was there but at least my hat was off. Another funny item, when jumping down for a high enough vantage point, to land on the sidewalk, upon landing, people then run off in panic but the cops are steadfast and have no reaction. Last but not least, armor rating. What good is it. Does not appear to be of much impact, if any at all for on level/same level missions as the character.

I feel for those that have experienced such errors that make the game unplayable for it is really a fun game. These errors are not going to be easy to fix since they all appear to be hit and miss except for this save corruption. Then again, at what point in the game does one reach 8MB for the save file? It is hard for me to fathom that my save file grew from just over 1MB to the 4.4MB it is now.

Will not go anywhere without that revolver. DPS may be low but it hits hard and decapitates most enemies on a single hit. Also why am not using Overwatch as a sniper.

Its same story as Kingdom Come, i had some issue and waited to progress in game month and half.
Management just believe in last moment miracles.. that every possible problem would be fixed in last possible moment, anything is better than just move release date..

Anything wrong with that game apart from that fans of Mass Effect 1-3 didn't like the difference?
Only played it on my Xbox One X after getting it on sale around last year, didn't encounter anything messing up the gameplay there

Game was slightly challenging for me until this gun dropped, with over 1000 dps not even my Legendry's can compete

Watch dogs legion, AC Valhalla, Flight simulator are all in my top 5 of the year.
Watch Dogs legion was the best watch dogs in my book.
AC Valhalla was the first AC game i completed since Unity, interesting settings, nice progression with the camp, raids were cool, environment was from average to trully beautiful, there were choices with consequences, i liked the fighting and seamless parkour.
Flight simulator is a gem i'll regularly go back to for years to come.
