Crysis 1 remake (rumor)

This is one of the perfect cases of human stupidity. But it's Crytek so i'm not surprised.
But this news is not important because 30 days later this game is cracked, so you can only laugh at Crytek - if that is what you need.

 

The funny part is that the released product is so bad, it's not even worth pirating.

 

I don't know. I didn't even try it, even though you can have it for free.
The one thing that i know is that you don't want to make a deal with the Crytek. They represent this bad side of video gaming.

 

Today my Epic client download another update, 14GB. HDR is still broken.

 

Did they fix vegetation physics?

 

I think nope. Also I see new problems with shadows and I can't set resolution above 1680x1050.
They patched all game and It's worst bulid than previous.

 

Looks like my GTX 1080 cannot run Crysis (remaster) in 3440x1440... and raytracing is Off, obviously.

Getting at best 35-40 fps or so with stuff on high (not even using that new "can it run crysis" setting), and it feels laggy and pretty much unplayable.

Welp.
Need new GPU.

 

Out of curiosity how does Crysis 3 perform on your system?

 

I don't think I have that one...
But there's plenty of benchmarks for GTX 1080 out there, and if I remember correctly it's more than enough for Crysis 3.

For some reason this Remaster (which looks worse than Crysis 3) plays horribly bad.

 

Some people report that the vegetation physics is fixed.

 

It is. Its in the patch notes.

 

Crysis 3 perform badly on mine...it s like there s no 144hz feel....and the fps is bad.....

So they've only now re-added the VTOL level? What a great remake...

 

I believe this is the X360 version ported to PC with engine updates, was hoping for a Cry Engine V style makeover for the entire trilogy over time but I guess not, surprising they've actually added back the VTOL level but the assets and code are there it can be done so that's nice for completions sake and having all the default content even if the level is a bit divisive as it's quite different.

Seems some physics and other elements are also somewhat toned down or removed and then the UI including manual saving additional optimization passes and what not but they fixed a lot and the game seems to be in a pretty good state, Switch version got updated too with a number of enhancements though I do not know if more is planned or if Crysis 2 is next as per the Crytek data leaks and info on how this was going to be handled but that's since changed a bit.

EDIT: More can be done but I am skeptical as to how much they'll be doing after this before moving to the next game if that's still in the plans.

Can someone explain to me why this game doesn t have the shooting mechanics of sniper ghost warrior 3?, the assets of that game are miles better than what we got in the remaster....this is really baffling....on what we could have got from a crysis remaster...or remake., this is just really disappointing to say the least, game looks almost identical to what i played in 2007...
