In my memory config the gpu was set to 3gb but i've seen my card use up to 8gb in this game, i've set it up but yet to try with it set.

Dont know if worth it,but you can give it a try

    https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/kddvlz/cyberpunk_best_settings_guide_to_go_beyond_60_fps

Do not forget this special one: static FidelityFX CAS @85%+ (its like Dlss) + Radeon Image Sharp
    https://old.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/kdlf0k/i_know_that_fidelityfx_cas_is_a_poor_substitute/

(and looks like you can remove some nvidia dlls from the game, set view company in folder game with windows explorer)

I had a decent time with game this morning and only now i noticed i was running with dlss Q, only very occasional dips below 60fps (spending time in heavy gun battles mostly)
Right now i was going to lower a shadow setting or two so i could enable dlss Q but damn no need i guess.

That's actually a pretty good one, where he lists the cpu important settings as :

    • Cascaded shadow range: CPU-related
    • Distant shadow resolution: Can be both CPU and GPU-related
    • Max dynamic decals: Both CPU and GPU-related
    • Level of Detail: CPU-related
    • Crowd Density: CPU-related
Crowd density is obviously the hardest hitter, especially when driving.

cpu is too old for this game now mate, trust me 4 cores 8 threads is not enough

    i had a 4790k and now a ryzen 7 3700x and man its a massive difference

before i had issues in pretty much any games at 1080p

They said the end of this week, just before the holidays, where they won't be working on the game for the next 2-3 weeks.

If you have fast cpu with 16threads crowd density isnt making any difference.

The way the overpowering sunlight fades into detail is nice and the enemy trash talk is funny, i like the gunplay too and the chance of meaningful action always round the corner.

Well. I'm running the game fine @ 4K with my old 6700k cpu and rtx 2080. I just don't have any ray tracing effects on. Tried running it with Traced reflections and that killed performance. Have everything maxed out except cascaded shadows and using quality DLSS. Game looks good and runs between 39-57fps. Lowest frames seem to be when driving. Anyway, for people claiming users cpu's are too weak. It depends on the users resolution. 1080/1440 cpu makes a difference. 4k, not really. My 6700k is 3fps lower than a 10700k @ 4k. 4k is basically all GPU.

I will say that I was always worried about the 3080's vram and even more so now. My 8GB gets maxed out often. And this is technically a last gen game. 10GB will not be enough for 4k in a year to two. it's a shame AMD's ray tracing performance is so poor, they had the right idea with 16gb of vram.

Haven't really noticed many bugs either. A few people walking through walls, but that happens in just about every game I've played. I really don't see anything out of the ordinary I guess I should say. Not yet at least.

Having 16 threads would up your min fps a decent amount.
    I had 6700k previous.was great in TW3

Even in 4K? By how much? I've been holding off on upgrading until intel had some mobo's with pcie 4.0 as Amd setups seem really finicky based on what ram you use to get the most out of them. I wish a site would do cpu benchmarks with this game. I've only found one and they focused on 720p. Every benchmark I do find with newer cpus in 4k is never much higher than my current setup. But I hadn't thought about min. fps, just been looking at averages. Would be nice to up that. Are the z490 boards going to be compatible with the next intel series 11900k? That's been another frustration of mine, they have been on the same nanometer and architecture since 2015 but keep requiring new motherboard upgrades with their cpus.

Your cpu is the reason you get that low fps while driving - im willing to bet that if you lowered population density (which decreases cpu load), then you would see a fairly big increase in performance while driving.

1080p or 4k makes no difference when cpu is pegged at 100% only causes issues and stuttering and cyberpunk really pushes 8threads to its limits. Average fps isnt the whole story.
