Leave him, he's too special and needs to be catered to
Thanks for the share! It seems more future proof (until these get incorporated officially, ofc.).

Everyone is allowed to have criticism but its not like they are ubisoft and leave their games broken. Think back how Witcher 3 was a mess at the release.

That's what I've been saying in pretty much all my messages since the game released. I love the game, but it needs a lot more polish. I have a right as a consumer to call out flaws

And honestly Witcher 2 and 3 ran flawlessly for me on day one, so I held CD Projekt RED to a very high standard, and I hate to say it but they didn't meet it with this game.

This is how I see it. Hilbert posts a fix that he thinks could help users here playing Cyberpunk 2077. You are defensive like "I should not need to do this" etc, but what good is that here? Seriously? Of course we shouldn't need to, but it's the state we are in right now. Either apply the patch or don't. No need to complain here about it. Contact the developers.

We had a dedicated thread here how much they downgraded the graphics in witcher 3 compared to demos/trailers. It was running like crap on consoles once again pc was fine just like cyberpunk. How the time passed they fixed it and people let it go realized how owesome the game is.

It took less than a minute to patch the .exe I really don't see the problem in giving it a try. Yeah it shouldn't happen but it fixed it for me.

Again. Am I not allowed to express my opinion on a subject that I have every right to talk about?

It's not my job as a consumer to fix something I shouldn't have to.

    And the worst part

You do this tweak you're gonna screw up all future updates and the integrity of the games installation.

    Which is entirely false.

We don't want to hear this tbh.

hwunboxed ain't really that good either, just as any yt based tech channel who need clickable content every other day they're pandering to whatever base they feel like they're drawing to their channel.looks like it was their tactics all along,it's just extremely stupid for nvidia to fall for it.

and I don't really know what nvidia has to do with cdpr's incompetence and how their public relations hwunboxed is somehow to blame for that.some people think there's a conspiracy everywhere.except when amd and ubisoft bork the performance on their dx12 port of valhalla.then it's fine.

get real, bad performance on a triple A launch isn't a conspiracy by lizard people.

You're right in principle, but good luck ever being satisfied if you expect companies to always do what's right. Seems CDPR is more likely to do so than others, but it isn't assured they will.
You also seem a little too paranoid about this fix. Ever heard of data integrity checks? You don't even need to make a backup binary of the game, because doing the integrity check will fix whatever you change anyway. If for some reason it doesn't, delete the binary and that will screw up the checksum enough for the file to be noticed. If there's an update to the game and that update has its own changes to the modified binary, it will overwrite whatever changes you make whether you want it to or not.

Actually, it very well could (at least in theory) hurt performance in some CPUs. AMD's SMT only yields a performance improvement if both threads are calculating the same instructions, due to the shared fetch and decode. But... since this game seems to scale pretty dynamically with more cores, I'm guessing most (but not all) threads share instructions.

0.5.2 is Amazing!!! https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/107 It auto detects Ram and Vram and adjusts pools.

example performance_overhaul.log file after injection. 16gb Ram and 1060 6gb
