This fix seems doesn't work with my 3900X sadly, will post screenshots later on

    Hope this helps

    Thanks, Jura

Make sure you test it in some busy areas or in the open.

Update to my own message. Once I reached Night City I had to change some settings. After various tests I reduced the resolution and disabled RTX, while everything else is on High. Running now with 2560x1440 and around 30-40 fps in Night City and higher FPS in all other areas. That works well enough for me and still looks great :)

Yup mate, tried that in City centre and in desert as well, literally my FPS plummeted from 52-62FPS to 22FPS at 3440x1440 and that's with everything cranked to max and DLSS set to Quality

    Hope this helps

    Thanks, Jura

That is strange indeed. We all reported an increase after the fix so it must have some culprit for your issue.

Check your gpu and cpu usage when fps goes down. City centre near apartment is quite good place to start

OK I just tested again with this fix from GiHub

    https://github.com/yamashi/PerformanceOverhaulCyberpunk/releases

And finally I have seen some improvement on my AMD 3900X,not sure if this helps people with Ryzen but in my case this has helped a bit although is still not right, will wait on patches

    Hope this helps

    Thanks,Jura

Reading this thread I'd assume cyberpunk was impossible to run, but both my sons happily playing at medium 1080p with old 4 core intels, a 1060 and a 1660. It did need the latest nvidia drivers however. Sure it would look nicer with a more expensive setup, but if you just want to play the game it's fine.

Just need to remember a lot of people on Guru3D want all the frames and won't settle for anything less that all the frames.

Could be that the game seems to favor Intel a bit atm. My 9900kf is only 4.8Ghz all core (because I don’t feel like cooling it down while consuming 200W+) but my memory is at 3600Mhz CL14. That could be what it helping me. My GPU seems to be constantly pegged at 99% usage.

Do we really come off like we want or expect 200+ frames at max settings? I mean I just want a stable 60+ FPS.

I just tried editing my exe and I can't for the life of me find that sting in my exe. I have a 3700x and was hoping to get it to work to see if I could get some more framed to turn RTX on with.

But the game runs on DX12 even on Windows 7, it is in the directory \bin\x64\d3d12on7\
Or do you mean 7 has less overhead?

Will the I9 9900K be enough together with a 3080

Thanks for the review, Hilbert. Much appreciated and thorough as usual.

I think this just needs some time to mature. I'll just wait some more :) Steam, Epic, Origin and GOG library are full of 10/10 games I bought or got for free over the years and still haven't finished - or even played! I'm working on that these days and not gonna buy any more until I feel like I'm satisfied with my investment in my already made investments.

Enough for what? To run it? Yeah without a problem. To achieve max framerate that the GPU can offer in this game? Maybe not, but we talk about very little missing here.

So... hows the alpha testing going you guys?
Do you report the bugs to CDPR? Or just here? How is that HEX editing and memory pool setting going? All good? Nice. I hope they pay you good money for this work! Thank you :)
