Cyberpunk 2077: PC graphics benchmark analysis review

I wouldn't mind a 3060ti as an upgrade to my 1060, but alas scalper prices don't entice me...

 

If you aren't too bothered about turning all the settings up this actually runs fine on a 1060, an old i5 at 1080p. Just make sure you update your graphics drivers as that has a huge impact on fps.

 

DLSS is truly the only really useful thing (RT just isn't work the performance hit IMO) that's come of the "next gen era".

 

Tip:
in 5950x I managed to turn 75fps to 80fps by turning off 8 cores (Game Mode in Ryzen Master) - It looks like the sweet spot for this game is EXACTLY 8 cores...
Update: setting affinity does the same trick...

 

Thats not the case , i tested most of the new cames and not a single one had problem with my CPU. I have a problem that it doesn't use CPU , you understand ? 1 core is not used at all. it uses 3 core and 6 threads .... its WRONG.

 

Am I the only one missing a bit more benchmarking for RT plus dlss? Also I can't find what card was used in the DLSS benchmark. I guess it's a 3070. If that's the case, looking at the other benchmarks in this article we would have around 25% more performance with a 3080. This would mean around 35 fps with RT ULTRA 4K and DLSS on Quality, which would be perfect for my taste in a non-fps game. Anyway a graphics cards comparison with everything maxed plus DLSS Quality in 4K would have been very nice.

 

The Guru3D CyberPunk performance review does a good job of showing the effects of RT and DLSS. If that's not enough, google should turn many other CyberPunk review options if additional detail is needed.

 

100% this, it's not even close, 2nd pic looks way better. Thing is, in the heat of the moment, when you're gaming, you won't really see it. Also, you won't even see it if you stop and look around, because you have no reference point.

But definitely, the 2nd pic is easily RTX

 

I kept those at max available now, rest low so Im somewhat less gpu limited @ 720p

Well I couldn't find a decent enough comparison and anyway over the years I've always seen this site as the benchmark of benchmarks. That chapter looked rushed and I tought the writer could improve it, it gives numbers without even saying what GPU he was using. No need of being toxic. If you can suggest a site with a benchmark with everything maxed and dlss set on quality (i.e. the best quality which still can be considered playable in this game as of today) please share it.

that's always happening,no need to retest specifically for the update,there'll be new gpu reviews coming and Im sure cp2077 is included

cpu is more of a stop gap until RL 11700K or 11900K later.

 

Looks Decent, doesn't blow me away. Buggy has hell. Needed another 6 months dev time, Last gen consoles should have been left out. It Runs awful on them.

 

That's the one awesome thing about Steam reviews, you know the people leaving them actually have the game, unlike Metacritic.

There's some negative reviews on Steam of course, overall it has a Mostly Positive out of the current 93,122 reviews.
