Yes it does do that automatically. :p
Looking at the HWiNFO data it goes upto 1050mV.
If I set myself to 1050mV than power consumption increases within the 15% power limit that is available and the GPU does not boost that high and scores are actually worst.
I have been experimenting with this since days.

Below is the plot for 2530MHz @1050mV

By the way, if you want to have more range for power limit, let's say -50% you can change it via MorePowerTool.
Some values make GPU frequency not go over 500-600Mhz if set incorrectly, I didn't find exact pattern yet why.

Thanks for the hint. I read about that tool at Igoreslab but did not try it until now. I need to inform myself how to use it correctly.
It looks like my 6800XT has lot of potential. Seems like I have good piece of silicon. :D

I was not that lucky with my Radeon VII sample.

Ehh... this time I was not that lucky.... I had an 6900xt in the cart, all details filled.... just confirm order... and bang.... the AMD site went down completely....
Think I will need to stick to 6800xt for a while...

New drivers just came out moments earlier so the site is probably getting hit with people downloading drivers for Cyberpunk.

I also wasted two hours for nothing on that site. The fun thing was, even if I managed to actually confirm the order after a LOT of refreshes at 503 errors, I got a nice message they won't ship to my country, which apparently was a bug.

So no 6xxx series for me for now, and I guess no 3080 either this year...

Well... there will be shipments of all the AMD cards.... e.g. today I have noticed a bigger shipment of 6800-series cards at Mindfactory. Over 200 units. They were in stock for like 40 minutes....
So the situation is improving albeit veeeery slowly...
As I have predicted --- the sit should improve by a little in the second half of December and then again in mid/end January --- this is the time I will get my hands on a custom 6900xt probably.

    UPDATE>
It seems that we actually might need to wait till Februar....

Nice one mate! I am getting only 12 835 on my 3960x + 6800XT combo because the Threadripper is lower clocked and worse for gaming than intel or zen3 cpus.... Eagerly waiting on ZEN3-based TR where you can additionally fine tune it :)

Oh and BTW your GPU clock seems to fluctuate a little bit in the second graphic tests.... Try the following >
GPU at 1030mV, 2350 / 2450 range, Memory 2100, fast timings, Fan to keep the hotspot below ca 78 degrees C, Power limit +15%.
Should be much more stable with the clocks in the second test. My 6800xt is rock-solid and keeping it up within the 2395 -2403 range.

Seems it unfortunately is true.... there are "tools" outside trying to do reviews and put one or the other card from AMD in bad light.... Honestly... from all the techtubers one of the last bastions is Hardware Unboxed....
I kinda agree with Hardware Unboxed --- that the 6900xt is bad value at best....
But on the other hand -- the 3080 with 10GB is laughable for a "high end 4k++++ card" and 3090 is pure dumpster fire for 1500++.
IF NV could release a 3080 with 20gb ram (Ti or whatever) and it would cost no more than 800-850 dollars then I would literally say it is the best product out there.
Till then 6800xt is the king.... But... I kinda want the 6900xt anyway :D:D....

Looks like you were able to stabilize the clocks a little bit more in the second graphics test.
All I can say is .... NIIIIIIICE :D:D

DAMN 20K GPU, thats awesome. Im getting 16K with my 6800. 1.00V seems to be the perfect sweetspot for this card

    @SpajdrEX
What setting did you use to reach 20k points?
Did you increase power limit with MorePowerTool?
