TUL (the company behind PowerColor) announced the Radeon RX 6800 graphics card "Fighter" equipped with a BIOS switch this is a more cost-effective model.... PowerColor Announces Radeon RX 6800 16GB GDDR6 Fighter edition
Can't we just have cards that don't have multiple BIOS and so on, that just work. Cheap coolers that just barely keep them cool and bearable while wearing headphones. Those were the kind of cards I used through my 20s when money was less plentiful. It'd allow you to buy a higher end model, but you'd have to live with the crappy parts. But that was fine, because you could buy a Zalman GPU lump of copper with a fan that was way better than the single slot blower on those cards back then. But now the aftermarket cooler parts are almost gone, only a few remain and certainly none seem to be worth it with the massive heatsinks and fan combos on all cards. In fact, why don't we have SKUs without a cooler on them at all ;O
Why they put "16GB GDDR6" into title? I would understand if it was different from the reference, like 16GB GDDR6X or 16GB HBM2e. But just repeating reference specs in the title is kinda lame.
