Yeah so, I searched all about the Next-Gen patch and at this point I'm just ganna assume PC is getting something on par with the PS4 version and xbone. I mean it's ganna look great, better looking on PC than consoles with RTX this that and other PC extras. I imagine though sometime in 2021... GPU refresh... CP2077 Next-Gen Patch for all systems. I say this because I can't fine CDPR saying anything at all related to it and it seems like there may be a NDA about it. Consoles will be getting a heavy graphics upgrade in 2021 though for sure.

 

download may be 70gb but after unpack it'll be 130gb or have they nerfed it massively?

yup, can't find an original source on that 131GB at all.

 

Everytime I see that yellow box popping out I get a small heart attack thinking they are going to delay the game again. YSOD (yellow screen of delay).

 

Got my few days of annual leave approved for next week so gonna make it a long weekend. Just need the Mountain Dew and Doritos now and my body will be ready. Can't say the same for my pc though but luckily I got a bit of extra for emergencies to throw in a 1660Ti if it comes to it.

 

If the availability of new GPUs wasn't so abysmal I could have sold you my RTX 2070 for an amount you couldn't refuse

 

Just try to compress the folder with the WIn 10 compression, if you have a modern CPU you won't notice any performance hit anyways.

 

Was a bit worried about the size as I only have 2*~230gb SSD's and other is for the OS and stuff. Other one has 117gb free, but removing Serious Sam 4 would free up more space. Meh. Perhaps will need to buy 1tb SSD, not like those are expensive anymore.

 

That's rather disappointing. It means textures are low rez and/or there are many repeated textures. Or the world is smaller than my imagination.
Even Call of Duty Black Cocks weighs in 120-130GB with high resolution asset.

 

Wouldn't be too surprising if true though.

 

Exactly - one of the reasons why witcher 3 managed to be fairly small in install size, despite the game world being very big.

 

The new cod fish are very badly optimized :x
