X470 AORUS GAMING 7 WIFI with 2 Nvme issues

    Hi guys how are you?



    I have X470 AORUS GAMING 7 WIFI Motherboard, today i received one nvme i already have one at the x4 slot, this one i installed at the x2 port at the bottom, it works but my Soundblaster Ax5 card stops working with the nvme installed, if i remove the bottom nvme it comes back working



    What can i do to solve this issue?

    You need to check your pcie configuration. Someone motherboards divide their lanes and share them across multiple interfaces - for example some boards share their sata ports with m.2 ports - if you use an m.2, it will disable the sata ports or vice versa.

    This could be happening to you. Can you try installing your sound card into another pci-e slot?

    So, you need to move your sound card into a separate slot.

    I had to use the pci 1x in the top of the card, not the best solution... but the only one that worked
