Hoping and guessing that we get at least some of the FidelityFX stuff - RIS style.

Says that they are RDNA optimized, but RIS worked with my RX480 pretty well...)

 

They gonna stop supporting 5700 series soon?

ok i have a problem since updating both 20.11.2 -20.11.3 when i shut down pc it will close down windows but leave fans and m/b powered up only way to shut down is hold power button till it shuts off , now if i do clean install off windows and install 20.11.1 its fine but i just did up date to 20.11.3 problem is back and before some one says fast start up it turned off in reg and chk it to

 

Sounds more like an issue with chipset package, or whatever app you use to control your cooling not shutting down proper.

 

Vulkan shader cache once again works as expected, probably was just a minor validation issue of the RT developer driver. It's nice that AMD gets extensions so quickly into their consumer drivers.

Gcn users had a good run. Rdna1 not so much.

 

Happy to say this driver performs well in games

setting minimum clocks does not work but overclock does kick in as intended with no drops that i noticed

 

No issues here. Driver is working as intended.

I'm disappointed that someone as "respected" as yourself isn't more vocal about this. I'd be on Nvidia's case if this kind of thing happened. Sad face.

 

The problem is not drivers. You always complain about drivers right away, but are you so sure? MMM I don't think .....

 

After installing 20.11.2 I was getting random crashes in AC Valhalla. My system was rock solid stable on 20.11.1. However, Ubisoft also updated the game a couple of times from 1.03-1.04 during that time so I can't workout if it's the game or the driver. I've installed 20.11.3 to see if I still get the random crashes.

A side note, Adrenalin software is reporting wild numbers for game played time on the home screen (Recent games).

According to this info RIS works on RX 470 (GCN 1.4) and newer, but it's not true.
R5 M430 (GCN 1.0) and R9 Fury (GCN 1.3) can use RIS as well.

 

@SpajdrEX do you still take part in vanguard?, its been brought to my attention that several games have been broken on AMD drivers for some time.

Mark of the Ninja and Shank 2 have all of its animated objects invisible
