I woke up this morning to see forign icon in taskbar. then I relaized MS final pushed the meet now crap. went to see if it could be removed only to find out not possible the intergrated that like many other things. like onedrive, that people found way to remove anyway
You can disable it anyway if you want. no need to hack it out of windows which might lead to weird behaviour. same goes for every windows app which is baked inside of windows. no need to delete them at all.
Tweak it till it's dead, then reinstall it... then do it again ∞ I had done a clean install of 20H2 but found Windows Defender could not be disabled anymore, it just re-enables itself, maybe there is a new method I am not aware of? 1909 is basically the last version of 10 that can be tweaked in a way that makes Windows 10 bearable.
Other then hiding it how do i disable it? disable it like how i disable Textinputhost.exe which is to find folder and rename it so cant run
Hiding it is actually disabling it. disabling Textinputhost.exe disables the Windows 10 emoji picker ( when you press windows + . )
Fqiure that much, as textinputhost.exe i dont need or want emoi picker didnt even know that was for that anyway, just know it was another process running I didnt want, and disabling all these uneeded process helps on battery power devices, and i didnt realize it help that much till i started doing on surface. specially thing that low cpu core count
They added "Hardware enforced stack protection" to the columns list, thats why the configuration reset. I wish they would fix that crap.
my guess is it for the built in "messaging" for win 10. something i dont use and never will but I sure my quess is wrong
in the profile, my 10 system atleast had the hybrid sleep setting reset to off, i use that since S3 is really spotty with that machine not being on a ups.
that with update that from this months patch Tuesday (19042.630) or with the upcoming update for December? I run modified profile, i keep eye out if it for upcoming update
