Hey guys, so I have this issue? My Sapphire Pulse RX 580 is having low GPU and Power usage... I've just bought a Cooler Master 700W power supply as I thought my PSU is the issue, but seems it is not. Can someone help me out here? I'm having latest drivers, tried with different versions, still the same.

Also, can it be due to CPU bottlenecking? Seems like my Ryzen 3 1200 is really bad.

high cpu usage, gpu usage 80%.

    its a cpu bottleneck

Yes, the 1200 is that bad.

  3. I'd try a GPU stress test (MSI Kombustor or FurMark) and see if you can get high GPU usage with that. Can also try maxing the power limit for the GPU.

I believe I have the same GPU (SAPPHIRE Pulse RX 580), and with Furmark, I can get up to 217W of power usage and 95-100% GPU usage.

In some games where there is no bottleneck GPU usage can be even lower than this. It's quite strange.

Furmark is showing 100 GPU usage but clocks are around 1090-1100+ MHz, not 1366 as it should be (core clock).
Kombustor is showing around 95-100% GPU usage, clock is at stable 1366 MHz.

I really don't know what is going on with this. :(

  7. I believe that's normal (or at least I recall the same thing); Furmark uses OpenGL and I guess stresses the GPU differently than Kombustor (I think has DX, Vulkan, and OGL tests).

Did you rule out a software problem ? did you uninstall your drivers with DDU from safe mode and reinstall the latest WHQL from AMD ?
