    On the photos it looks like 2 (1+1splitter) rail setup from the PSU, but that is not possible with this card right? Since it requires slightly more than the 375 limit a splitter on PSUcan give, or can you get away with that?

    Yes, you can get away with that if the PSU has more Amperage available on that 12V rail. This PSU offers a single rail 12v at 71 Amps. The energy distribution is not an issue and connectors can easily manage it. If you have a PSU with four separated 12V rails each rated say 15A, then it could be bothersome. It's why I have been evangelizing single-rail 12V PSUs for a long time now.

    It is connector which has Power Rating, not cable. Cables are total overkill. Just go shopping and see thickness of cable and current ratings.

    And the supreme Suprim scores lower than their own Gaming X Trio (in the GPU shoot-out). The Suprim should have been a higher tier, right?

    I'm not sure if I agree with a Top Pick recommendation as the price performance is pretty awful. If these start going above MSRP then we're repaidly moving into the realms of $2k cards!

    Maybe there need to be some new Guru3D rewards like 'Nice card shame about the price'.

    @ least this gpu got a switch for gaming and silent mode, i might get this one if its gets available lol.

    @ Hilbert send me one please i have the power for it, i feel sorry for my 1080 ti he gets to many buffs from my psu :(

    Great card, i really love the silent mode! But the premium asked over a normal 3080 is simply stupid...

    These so called "superior" 3080 models are just not worth it. I managed to get my hands on a 3080 Eagle OC and with a TPD of ~340W it runs 2010-2040 Mhz. I think that a more important thing to watch are the temps. Keep the cards @ ~60-65C and you will see good performance. In my opinion it is not worth the extra cost that these cards come with, it's just not justified.

    Think it's silly that it uses 40w more than FE, i mean you get nothing for the increased wattage used. If raytracing still dosnt mean anything to you, you might aswell get a 6800xt, save 140watt(founders vs ref) and maybe even get more FPS...

    Hilbert ik hoop echt dat ik de gpu win in december die 3080 is theoretisch gezien bijna nergens verkrijgbaar, laat me ff weten of er een contest is i join gladly.

    I just said to hilbert that the 3080 is barrely available in europe i really hope i can win one in december my 1080 ti is getting obsolete.
