Can we have DXR gaming results on the DXR page?

Absolutely not the case, so long as your Boot drive has less than 4 partitions, you can use MBR2GPT to convert from Legacy MBR boot to UEFI GPT boot, the MBR2GPT will handle the task of installing the UEFI boot loader.

btw regarding Watch Dogs Legion, quotes from Tom's review: "AMD's RX 6800 cards seem to render the reflections in Watch Dogs Legion with a bit less fidelity" "Okay, maybe that's just a bug and it will be fixed, but right now there's a good chance that AMD's performance in Watch Dogs Legion at least is far higher than it should be with ray tracing enabled."
they even added 2 sliders for image comparison

I pointed out they need it to make rt feasible, until they don't it's not.

    well,if it delivers that is.

    stupid prices.and not even available.
rx6000 needs constant supply or else same will happen in a week's time
they sold out in 2 minutes in Poland, tried to get one, couldn't even preorder at 3:01pm

dude edit your posts, how can you make a coherent point with this

I had a 6800XT in my basket on OCUK, I went to purchase it and the next page said "your basket is empty!"

Oh well.... Guess I will try again on the 25th when the AIB cards come in.... Won't hold my breath though..

Nice rev...but where is Rzyen 5900x + 6800XT=LOVE=SAM (Smart Access Memory)?

The perf is there,AMD needs a refined drivers for 6000 series. :)
Looks like 6800 is in "better" quantities than 6800XT,but after 2 weeks AIBs will provide moar Radeon RX 6000 cards.

Maybe, but like with their RT implementation their DLSS will also use shaders to do that work.

Great review HH. I'm really impressed with what AMD has managed to pull off. Even though i'm very happy with my 3080, if I had of waited (which I couldn't if I wanted a card before Xmas) I would be more than happy with a 6800xt. It's great to see them competing at the very high end again. Now bring on the 6900xt, that should be a beast.

Its a good start. I expect future gpu jump performances from AMD. The minds at AMD are being so creative these days, I wonder which drugs they r on

I could drive to OCUK in about an hour with good traffic as well, not sure if they are still doing pick ups though. I was there a month or two ago to pick up my new monitor and their setup for pickup was pretty good tbh. Wouldn't surprise me if the staff at these sites all get first dibs on the units.

Also in lighter news..... The ANTI BOT BOTS are in full swing!!! HAHAHAHA

Haha there's some terrible scalpers on Amazon if you hadnt noticed! Yeah might have to visit Overclockers one day but its a long drive back as most of the family moved from Staffs/Shropshire. Closest would be my Sis in Brum. If there was no covid and could go visit I might be tempted to pay them a visit! (even then its kinda pointless as no stock unless they have a secret back room stash).

(that said I'd be out in Brum and prob not even make the drive haha)

AMD's DX9 performance is also up there with NV, and has improved, going back about 1.5-2 years ago. (You would know this if you used one)
I play SWTOR a lot, and that is DX9. (I was able to compare performance between a R9 390 vs a GTX1070) It also works with DXVK's libraries. I play that game at 4K@60 on my 5700XT.

As for OpenGL, yeah, that is something that has been long neglected. What is ironic is that their Linux driver is superb at OpenGL. They should do some porting over to their Windows driver.
