Yes I agree it is good for Ryzen,I was just trying to fix my broke epeen by showing the effective clock ,I am all better now. So actually the new AMD curve optimizer which will get full release this week along with all the other goodies from AMD with new AMD cards is going to be very good.

Now the AMD curve optimizer + PBO settings now I can get up to 5100Mhz and hold 51000Mhz PC gaming 95% of the time. it is overclocking it will be month until I know everything is 100% stable. I can run 5200Mhz but I am getting error on interconnect bus which will not be stable over time.

So far higher clocks do not affect my PC gaming as I play at 4K and any CPU would be the same, but if someone plays at 1080p a 5000+Mhz magic barrier for AMD has been broken and can show some real performance gains.that all the crazy I got left for today AMD hit it out of the park but some Ryzen 5000 users are not happy but I am

Yeah I owned 6 Ryzen CPU's and used them all for PC gaming and like them a lot.

I just had someone on youtube ask me what ECO mode I was running to have such low temperatures running 5800X @ 5100Mhz .The crazy talk from some people wrecks my head but that was funny stuff and now I need a rag to clean my monitor screen.

Rumor has it many 5800X chips are running 20c or so hotter than they should.

I don't really have anything specific I've just been reading various sites. Like I said it's just a rumor.

Regarding MAX CPU + RAM OC, does it seems the 5600X are hitting a 3800 Mhz IF 1:1 clock vs 5800X hitting 4000 Mhz 1:1 IF?

I am watching GN's OC 5600X vs 10600K review and Steve hits 3800 MHZ 1:1 IF and mates on ARMA forum are hitting 5800X + 4000 MHZ 1:1 IF.

Just wondering if it is insane to pay 150 USD more to hit 4000 MHZ 1:1 IF to increase per core performance for gaming.

Do not fall for the FCLK myth especially if you PC game at higher than 1080p.

    5800X all core overclock Cinebench 20 - 4800Mhz
    Multi score -6330 @ 72.5℃ with 1.29v
Too bad some people are having cooling problems, looks like I got lucky.

It's great for older Zen CPUs e.g 1,+ or even 2
Because in the end whats matter is Clock -> when You hiting 4.7+ GHz on Zen3 it will be plenty FPS, so gain is small.
Good gain is for Zen 3700X at 4.1-4.25GHz then this IF + Fast RAM really matter, and it have lower latency, which give better gaming performance.

    To wrap it up:
If You can then Yes go for it :p (Better the IF + mem = better gains*)

*Gain is an + and + is good for Us

Could bring mine 5950X to 4.9GHZ boost at SP in Cinebench while it being 62C.

I wonder how can I achieve the great 5.0ghz boost?

[IMG] Yesterday i played a little with my new am4 set up on Single Stage Phase cooling. The ipc on this cpu is insane beating my old scores of my old Intel 8700k at 5600Mhz by 75%

    Asrock Taichi x570 - Ryzen 5600x - G.Skill Neo 2x8gb 3800cas14 ram.

    cbr15 ran 5250Mhz cpu , Ram at 4533Mhz cas14

^ Yep, I noticed a leap from my 1600X to a 3600. Higher minimum and average fps, not that the 1600X was bad but the increase amazed me. The 5600X is even more remarkable and Zen 4 rumours are looking promising as well :)
