Guru3D Content Review: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X - Ryzen 9 5900X and 5950X processors

Well, Intel would argue their last bastion is "the platform". If the 5000 series doesn't have any major hiccups like in previous generations, then AMD won in that regard too.

 

12'000cinebench r20 when a 3960x does 13'500 really ? (I know it's oc but still that's fast)
hoping they announce 5xxx threadrippers or at least motherboard compatibility so I know if I need to sell mine now

 

They went quick, but luckly I was able to grab a 5800X my self couple of seconds after 9Am est hit. a couple mins after that, it went Out of stock.

 

I imagine EU stock levels will be wonky due to increasing lockdowns and pressure on logistic chains. I'm seeing increasing delivery times all across the board, and that's on basic necessities and items that are in stock. I can only imagine the problems restocking items that have sold out, even if they are available.

 

Just remember that benchmarks don't matter ;-)

All I see left is overpriced Asus bundles and my main store says full stock from 27th November which is similar to the GPU stock for Nvidia which is meant to be 22nd, I got a feeling that both AMD and Nvidia have deforested the whole world

 

Was hoping to see how the stock situation looks like but it looks like they sold out really quickly here, guess "none" is also a answer though.
Time to see what the reviews look like at least.

 

Cool. Knew the NDA would be lifted on the 5th and here it is, a winner.

 

I think I was able to get a 5900X before it sold out but not 100% sure yet.
Hopefully will know tomorrow or so.
If I was lucky I still have to wait until 12th latest 20th before they can ship
it because they are currently relocating their storage and it is causing delays.

Funny thing is that I think the retailers server broke down because of
the amount people was trying to order a 5xx0X at the same time and
right after I ordered it went from Buy Now to Notify me again.

Either way best of luck to everyone getting the 5xx0X they want soon.

Anyway, no real chance of getting a Zen 3, and that isn't going to change any time soon. 2020 has been a bust, for me, anyway.

It's a great time to be a 4770K and GTX 1070 owner

I will sit it out until next year though, by then a lot of issues have been ironed out (if there are any), and stock shouldn't be as bad hopefully.

Proshop? It's gone from Notify to no longer being offered at all. I can only reach it via a saved direct link. Doesn't even show up in search any more. I don't think the store crashed, they probably took it offline once stocks dried up to clear the backlog.

 

There is not one bad thing to say about what AMD has accomplished.

Yes Maybe I really do not know. I got Cloudflare message that it was unable to
connect to their server, that is why I think their server broke down.
After when I tried I had same issue with any 5xx0X not showing at all and I was using
MS Edge. But I when changed to Google Chrome, it showed up like normal again even
in their search tab. Ccleaner might have solved it too, but I was in a hurry so did not test it.

 

Here only 5950X is in stock and the one cpu per customer limit was removed and still there are 10+ on stock with 2 hours delivery...seems that they found out that there will be stock resupply for all stores and they try to get rid of them fast at an inflated price (880 euro)

 

No stock in NL anywhere.

( Wasn't planning to buy right now, but it's fun to watch the drama... )
