Very good, this would a nice replacement for the G.SKILL Flare X.
The 2x 16GB kit would be great. :)

in Flare X you have the 3200 CL16, average but does the job really great, and the CL 14 much much better (and cost twice the price).
Both are kick ass for the price.
edit: and hopefully, doesn't have RGB led :)

1 cl faster than my tridentZ 3600 cl15......now all we need is 4000 cl14 ready for ryzen 5k

you have in GSkill the 4000 that exist already in CL15, the 4400 in CL16, the 4800 in CL18...
it's already very nice CL at those speed but for the price it is lot less interesting.
On other hand, i am very happy with my 3200 OC at 3600, far than enough for now and it cost really few

The lowest cl 4000 on ebay i`ve been able to find is 17, but even my tridentZ 15cl on xmp will only run at c16 so i``ll stick with what i have for now unless i change to a Ryzen 5900x next year....well the bios say`s 15 and all windows apps say 16, dont know if its a limitation with my Ryzen 3800x or my Asus Prime x570pro or just an amd bug.

This has to do with GearDown Mode on AMD Cpus. It only works with even CLs and will round up to the closes even CL. It can be disabled, but it may make it harder to hit high frequencies and low CLs. A gross oversimplification of what it does... changes the command rate from 1T to 1.5T.

Ebay, Amazon, Alibaba etc... are lobotomy for consumer.
Take a look directely in real shop, or directely to maker, you will be surprised on what you found and at what price you would found it.
    My set reference GSkill PC4-32000 - F4-4000C15D-16GTRS (Trident Royal 4000 CL15 16g (2X8) chrome)
About the CL15 that are CL16 in OS, i had the same problem.
Try to not use XMP in bios ram config and use the timing of your ram in manual (let "auto" on the info you don't have)
It work for my Trident royal (that are just TridentZ in more cute) and since i have zero problem, i hope it can help you.

Thanks...will have a tinker at the week end, i did disable the GearDown Mode but to be honest the difference is barely noticeable..... in the Division2 at least.

This hasn't been already available? (Low latency High Speed DDR4)

    3600 @ CL14 is pretty nice...

My 4000 kit XMP runs at CL18

Downclock it or OC it. Or set CL at 17 or lower. Had 2x8Gb 4400C19 Patriots Viper and was running perfectly 4100Mhz 15 15 15 31 @1.536V.
Now...now I have 2x16Gb tridentz, they are 3200c14 and my IMC allows only 3800Mhz 14 14 14 31@1.536V. Difference negligible in lows FPS, like 1 FPS maybe.
Maybe I will go back to Patriots...or will wait and change setup to ZEN3

You're saying despite trying the different values the difference was nill?

Totaly agree, on my main computer i have 3200 oc to 3600 and it's enough for nearly everything, On my media PC i have taken low CL (because i think it's the more important) 4000 because i might take a ryzen 5 from the next gen as it seem to be better with 4000 according to persisting rumor... anyway chromed ram is cute.
Why not then, it will make price go down :)

Generaly downclocking lower the CL and OC rise it... if you got lucky you can keep your low CL when few OC.
But if you need more FPS, low CL ram are clearly not the 1st thing to get... as you said you gain almost nothing (and cost twice the price), a normal CL fast RAM is enough.
