$999 is perfect price. Trades blows with a 3090 which costs $1500!!

    COMPETITION IS BACK BABY!!!!

That will be 6700 (XT?) @ 449 probably, still beating 3070, with presumably 12 GB memory.

Nvidia seems to have done us all a favor with such garbage availability. I'll be grabbing a 6800XT or 6900XT. Will wait for reviews. Thank you to Nvidia, scalpers, horrible lack of bot prevention and eBay.

    I think prices are fine.
If those are high, Nvidia are higher?

We still need to see what the 6700XT will be priced.
For now you have a 570 option that is better than the 500 option of the 3070, by a good margin ( in theory ).

If the 6700XT is priced at 440 at is like the 3070, is a win/win

Now I have an issue.... I can get a 6900XT but then I need to spend money on a freesync monitor which I also don't want to do yet as i'm waiting for good hdmi 2.1 to come out

6800XT at £600 is fine, hopefully the reference card is decent, not looking for marked up AIB cards. The 6900XT isn't worth the extra $$$ imo.

Also do not forget that Radeon prices usually keep steady, while nvidia for some reason blown up.

NO DLSS alternative, no RT performance graphs ... kinda sad :-(

Had hoped 6800 was 100USD cheaper but I guess it's not possible with 16GB VRAM.
    So, upgrade happens next year.

The prices will self adjust overtime that's how the market works , but right now $990 for the performance of the Nvidia 3090 , that is fair value imo .
Finally there is competition in the graphics card market woohoo .

Rip NVidia. Rip Intel. Now the final touch could be improved drivers w/more features. AMD has won.

Gonna need some serious third party benchmarks with those charts all being done :
    "
    + rage mode
    + smart access memory
    "

Otherwise looking great, hyped for all those new GPU !

Hilbert 3090 founder review framerates at 4K ( AMD graph value ) :

    BF5 : 124 ( 110 )
    Borderland 3 : 78 ( 70 )
    Gears of War 5: 84 ( 81 )
    Shadow of the Tomb Raider: 95 ( 96 )

Yep, no way I'm looking to save £50 and buy a 6800xt. DLSS 2.0 is just way too good. Still, good to see AMD at least putting up a fight.

The hype before was , that with performance it blows Nvidia away. I have not seen that. It closely matched them. Sure price is cheaper , but i dont mean that argument right now.

Certainly not me. I would like my next gpu to have 16GB of ram though since i plan to buy a 3k ultra wide monitor. The 6800x looks interesting. I usually don't want to spend more than 500$ USD but i might make a exception this time if the performance is around 10% better than the 3070.

How nVidia made the 6900XT 999 excl VAT look cheap compared the 1549 3090 or the 2080Ti before that. And sheep gobble up this new price trend as 'fair value'.
    Only took two years, lol.

It also might be significantly worse in RT workloads.
