And here i am, waiting for MSI to provide my store with card, if they're selling directly their card overpriced on Ebay i'm gonna be highly pissed and disappointed by this brand for life.

Well we all know msi is one of the worst.

 

So let's see, they accessed 3080 gaming x trio from an inventory they shouldnt have access to.
They sold one 1350$, then revised the pricing up to 1400$ and sold 3. Someone went rogue in this subsidiary or what?

 

That statement is pure damage control from my viewpoint. During these hard times, every capitalist will come out of the woodwork to max out their revenue. Not surprised but MSI just lost me as a customer.

 

I find it funny how the customers in regular delivery channels are screwed and are the only ones not getting any help here, since obviously nobody will return their card. They just screwed up and ended up having 4 customers not getting their cards at the time they should.

MSI got caught so they made (up) that statement.

"An error allowed them access to inventory they were not permitted to handle"

Okay, how does that fit in when MSI was and is apparently out of inventory? Where did this unallowed inventory come from?
If Starlit Partner had accidentally sold refurbished cards as new then I would somewhat understand.

The entire RTX 30 release looks like a mess to me.
Things like this show this entire situation is pure profiteering and NV and AIBs are in on it.

No problems with scalpers where I live so I really do not care since we do not have Amazon or Ebay, so I will still buy from
either Nvidia, MSI or ASUS depended on what part it is and availability.

Here it just a few shops with overpriced EVGA GPUs that is a "problem" so I will never buy EVGA ever.
The only shops with the EVGA Geforce RTX 3090 FTW3 ULTRA for pre order for example have a current price @ about 2 679 USD

The other problem is that shops do what they want anyway like putting the new Nv RTX 30xx GPUs (Even FE ones directly from Nvidia)
into pre builts to sell them first. Not EVGA GPUs thou since Nvidia FE and other brands are much cheaper :>

Someone is going to get fired and there will be hopefully more GPUs for rest of the world^^

I got my current card from a MSI dealer on ebay, brand new /half price and in a generic msi box, though that's opposite of what's going on here, but who knows perhaps MSI use ebay a lot which is not a problem, unless scalping of course.
