https://www.asus.com/uk/Monitors/ProArt-Display-PA32UCG/ The headline stats are very good: 32-inch 4K HDR Mini LED Backlight 1,152 zones local dimming 48~120 Hz Variable-refresh-rate (VRR) for game developers Dolby Vision HDR-10 HLG VESA DisplayHDR 1400 pre-certified That said, there is a panel by Innolux (M315DCM-E70) which is available for monitor manufacturers to buy, and it has 2 million dimming zones...whoah! The "315" nomenclature with Innolux apparently pertains to the Panel size, which is 31.5 inches. I will say, that unless something is put together using that panel inside of the next 3-4 months, there is every chance the ASUS ProArt Display PA32UCG, will be landing on my desktop before the end of this year. For me, here is a monitor that looks like a monitor, and not some kidz toy, yet has all the stuff that gamers would want, without trying desperately hard to try and appeal to gamers. I just wish it used the golden ratio of 1.6:1 instead of the gimped 1.78:1 Thoughts?
...there aren't any even in the developer channel for availability, I get mine Nov 3, and I think I am 1 of 4 so far. Are you per chance referring to the PA32UCX or PA32UUCX-PK? pa32ucg is not even of the developer run / early adopter till november
They've been listing it for so long and were unable to deliver. I don't believe this LCD will be available anytime soon. Maybe next year, overpriced and in very limited quantities.
https://www.displayspecifications.com/en/news/59445c6 Update! This monitor will now be released at the end of the month ...for roughly €5,500 - that's $6,652.85 US Man, my finger will be resting on that big shiny 'buy' button. HH, you gonna review this? It is meant for games developers and does have all the bells and whistles
