Hello, everyone. I've been experiencing BSODs since the beginning of April. Most of the times they appear as DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL, and sometimes as WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. I've tried to track the source of the problem, but it just seems to happen randomly (sometimes only browsing). For example, there was a period when I didn't get any blue screens for one month straight, using the same programs and games as I always do. And sometimes I get two blue screens on the same day. I formatted my PC on September 22, and today I got a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR BSOD again. Before formatting I ran memtest for 12 hours and got no errors at all. My system is completely updated (BIOS, chipsets, drivers and Windows). The temperatures are optimal. Device manager shows no errors. Obs.: I run my CPU at 1.150V. But since I run it that way since I built my PC on January 2019, it doesn't seem to be a possible cause, as the first blue screen happened on April 2020. Would you recommend increasing it to 1.2V, for example? If anyone can help, I'd REALLY appreciate it! I don't know what else to do. Here are my PC's settings: - Intel Core i7-8700 + Cooler Master Hyper 212X - Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2060 Gaming OC ● 6GB - Corsair Vengeance LPX ● 16GB (2x8) ● DDR4 ● 2400MHz - Gigabyte B360M Aorus Gaming 3 - Samsung 860 EVO ● 250GB - Seagate BarraCuda ● 2TB - Corsair TX650M - Windows 10 Pro x64 And here is the BlueScreenView log for the last BSOD: 092520-5671-01.dmp 25/09/2020 13:43:29 0x00000124 00000000`00000000 ffffbf05`64e53028 00000000`be000000 00000000`01001152 PSHED.dll PSHED.dll+15b0 Platform Specific Hardware Error Driver Operational System Microsoft® Windows® Microsoft Corporation 10.0.19041.507 (WinBuild.160101.0800) x64 ntoskrnl.exe+3f3ea0 C:\Windows\Minidump\092520-5671-01.dmp 12 15 19041 1.179.516 25/09/2020 13:44:01
1. pshed.dll is platform specific hardware error driver. 2. bugcheck 0x124 with first parameter = 0 is described as "A machine check exception occurred." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Machine-check_exception#:~:text=A machine-check exception (MCE,or on the system bus. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/wi...er/bug-check-0x124---whea-uncorrectable-error
Thank you for the technical definition of the problem, mbk1969. But I'm in need of suggestions to track the problem
Wmea 0x124 is 99% of the time cpuv too low. Raise it another 0.005v or 0.010v.. e.g. to 1.160v and see from there on. It should also help by irq not less or equal if not, you need tiny bit of cpu system agent voltage offset 0.050v+ should be more then enough.
