We've been hard at work, but the new beta of AfterBurner has been wrapped up. We have a long changelist to present you with Ampere support of course, but also want to introduce a twofold of new skins... Download: MSI Afterburner 4.6.3 Beta 2
it's not after burner or rtss's fault. the game does not allow any other overlays by design in the new update. there are work arounds though but that would lower your trust score. (according to the devs)
Thanks for update. New skin looks cool, it's really well crafted. P.S. At the moment this is the only way to have ampere card in your pc.
What was on my mind is shortages of 3080 and paper launch of this card. With this afterburner update you can have this card at least in form of a skin for program.
No? Afaik signed dll-s will works, so it's just a matter of signing the dll-s or whatever to make it work.
This misinformation is being parroted by users in GSGO community and no, it is totally not true. https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/rtss-6-7-0-beta-1.412822/page-123#post-5809195
The Ampere skin is awesome - thanks for that - at least it feels a little closer to me actually owning one, not that I have any chance of that at the moment, due to the complete shambles of a launch!
It is nothing to do with new update, it is basic understanding issue of software update. Do a proper update procedure, uninstall previous version and restart PC.
I say this every new update but thank you so much for this tool, priceless for hardcore gamers and pc enthusiasts, so useful to instantly read the fps impact of visual settings in games or to set the proper affinity of cores on HEDT/Threadripper (which can dramatically change the fps/frametimes) not that this game needs it
Is there any option to switch back to the legacy OC Scanner? On my 1070 fails constantly first with error 22h and then with error 10h.
Downgrade to pre-455 driver is the only option to select legacy OC scanner now. NV do not comment if there are any plans to support Pascal series cards in their new NVAPI OC scanner implementation, so probably I'll add an option for forcing deprecated legacy OC scanner component usage for such old cards in future versiond of MSI AB.
As cool as the OC Scanner is, it's far from perfect. I know i can do +150 (always use +135 as artifact safe zone) on the core, and the OC Scanner does scan towards that (+133), but it never maxes out. When manually set to +135 i get 2025 MHz with the OC Scanner it only goes to 1965 MHz.
