Planet Side 2 is not on the list but it did fix the 10 second intermittent freezing but still crashes after a certain amount of time or an event like heavy proximity rendering occurs.

I see no problem with DCH, I use it on all my laptops with hybrid graphics as Intel uses (forces) it. It just picks up the CP afterwards from the Windows Store, apart from that it’s just the same thing.

After installing 456.38, NVIDIA Container occupies 0.2%-0.6% of CPU, and Windows Event Log occupies 2%-4%. Back to 452.06 they all recovered 0%

This driver basically screwed my GSync compatibility, works for a few minutes and then I have to reenable it in the monitor menu. Why can't people write decent drivers anymore, anyway back to 452.06 and working normally again.

DCH is just a refresh for inf-based installation. It can be used by OEMs to offer a driver packages customized for their needs. When NVIDIA releases drivers at their site, both bundles - DCH and legacy one - contain completely the same amount of drivers and components (well, except for control panel).

We see many different DCH packages for Realtek audio chips - with great variety of components like Sonic studio, Hahimic components, etc - published by laptop (and motherboard) manufacturers.

PS May be some other companies who sell NVIDIA cards under their own brand can customize driver packages with the help of DCH, but why should NVIDIA distinguish drivers, dll- and exe-files between DCH and legacy bundles?

You're right, I'm seeing the same behavior on EventLog. CPU spiking up to 3% and 12mb disk reads every second, wow.

Between buggy GFE beta, performance overlay being a massive letdown and this... yeah, that's definitely a rollback for me.
I do wonder though if clean telemetry-free drivers have this issue.

Yep similar behavior here, clean installation with DDU + NVSlimmer (only driver and physx)

Clean driver here as well. Both Event log and Nvidia container are about 0.2-0.6%. Not much different than Cam and HWInfo.

To those who have issues with NVIDIA Container spamming, are there any new startup entries? Use AutoRun to check.

I'm using the minimum install as well. Rather than rolling back, I just renamed it to x.NVDisplay.Container.exe, and once I terminated the process the spurious activity permanently stopped. If I need to use the control panel for some reason I'll temporarily rename it back to NVDisplay.Container.exe.

Windows Netflix App Video is Stuttering in Fullscreen.

Edit: Okay, now it also stutters with 452.22.

oh no, that tiny bit of cpu usage is stealing your frames.

    It's not the driver

Actually, i'm just going to go right on ahead and say you're bringing these issues on yourselves, as usual.

Rip bits of the drivers out thinking you're smart (you ain't), get issues. deal with it. :D

Well, considering previous drivers didn't do it. I see it spiking the cpu frequency to max doing nothing. Every second.

I do see NVIDIA Container jumping about.

updated post, its not the driver.

its wiseguys modifications of the driver, take a peak in the event viewer and see what module missing is causing the errors

    You modded it with nvslimmer.

Event log is only heavily active because its logging errors.
