Well, guess what? My bank blocked the payment because it was suspicious, my basket is now empty and the website is not loading. frack YOU HALIFAX

 

Never saw that, it went from notify me to out of stock. :/

Wow, won't be using CCL again, ordered one, got email to come collect, got there and was told they sold out and kinda tough luck, won't even refund the deposit till calling up and processing over a few days.

 

Definitely not getting a Ebay one. Will wait, see what the reviews are on RTX3090 and maybe get my gaming TV. Maybe a few more weeks of my 2080 TI. Just think it’s a shame there was little or no stock. Maybe if anyone from Nvidia reads this they might send me one as a nice good will gesture as a loyal customer. Yeah. Right.. he he

 

Managed to get to the Checkout but now it is stuck on Checking Out...

How long should this usually take??? I know its now my connection as I have 420 Mbps!!!

Damn, damn, damn it! Refreshed the page, checked I was logged in, accidentally logged out so logged back in to find basket contents reset to 0. Went to try and re-order and now it is showing as out of stock again.

You would think that websites would work properly these days in the age of uber fast internet and servers. Very disappointed to have missed out but maybe it is for the best?

At least I managed to pre-order a PS5 from Amazon this morning.

 

IMO WD3 and CP2077 will release and probably use more than 10gb on Uber textures, it's happened in past.

 

I feel like such a sad b*****d, sat here tapping away on the F5 key on the GeForce forum. I always said I'd never do that with any hardware launch.

Tell me about it. Keep getting hope it’s a glitch on their system as no one here has said they have successfully bought a card. Definitely not crashed site, I guess most people are going for 3rd party cards as most of the other online shops almost impossible to view.

 

You've done well holding onto your 1080ti this long, why not go for a 3090?
If i was any good at saving i'd have one, 20gb is uber future proof too.

 

Haha, I did sit on nvidia.com for a while then had to stop because I started to feel like a pathetic consumerist. I still find it a bit strange how Amazon don't have the slightest hint that Ampere exists, though.

 

There must have been double digit cards (if that) available for most brands, really poor showing from Nvidia and AIBs.
