Had a stuttering when playing online yesterday. Horse was jumping up and down but i couldnt run either. Dropped every hide i tried to put on the horse as well. Not sure why i still play this game.
I tried the RDO today for a few minutes as well. When a 3rd pelt disappered from my hands and one of daily challenges wouldn't trigger even after multiple attempts, I closed the game. Yeah, the new era of games as (bad) service...
I've got a G-sync monitor and always force V-sync in the driver but disable it in-game. I've not played RDR2 for a while now...the game simply doesn't pull me in, not sure why. Maybe it's the very very slow pace that off-putting. Anyway, last time I played the game it ran fine like usual so I can try it when I get home today and see if I get the same stutter that you mentioned with this new patch.
I'm planning on buying some games later today, should I get this or horizon ZD? (will be on a 2080ti)
This one is basically guaranteed to work. Horizon is not yet there. Aside from that you have to check reviews to see what is mostly to your taste.
New update and the startup crash is back... Well done R*! https://steamcommunity.com/app/1174180/discussions/0/2941370278930024740/
No startup crash here, have you guys tried running the launcher and game as admin? That stupidly enough fixed an old crash for me
As always, not all users are affected. In this case, it seems to be related to OS and OS version. Most W7 and some W10 versions are affected. Also all VMs seem to have stopped working as well.
So, if anyone is interested, there is temporary fix for W7 users... Add "-sgadriver=Vulkan" to launch parameters in either R* Launcher or Steam.
I just ran the benchmark with 20.4.2 drivers, noticed my power consumption as measured from the wall plug for the whole box peaked at 375W! Vulcan API. Mix of Ultra to High settings @ 1080P Been out of the loop with 'modern' games for some time, so I suppose this is not surprising.
Yuck, I hope not... personally I don't care for that stuff to be in my relaxing western simulator. On the other hand, zombies can't be any more annoying than dealing with Harriet is.
single player dlc shhhhhhh gta5 doesnt want u recalling there was some for that game until shark cards and 2k.
Hi mates. I installed RDR2 after a fresh install recently. Entered the game, changed graphics settings, passed the benchmark... But I touched the full screen optimizations in the executable and since then I can't change graphics settings, even uninstalling and reinstalling (rockstar launcher included). Any help???
