Just an update on the Marvel's Avengers issue which I thought might have been caused by using driver v460.15 originally just in case anyone else comes across this "bug". Turns out that the infinite Campaign loading screen issue is caused by what I can only assume is a corrupted save file although the game does not crash and can be exited normally by pressing Alt-F4 to bring up the Quit Game prompt. If this happens that the workaround/fix is to go into the Avengers Initiative mode (this is meant to be accessed once you complete the campaign) but since I was literally on the last mission anyway it did not spoil anything for me. This mode loads fine for me and once loaded then all you do is access the war table and press up on the d-pad which allows you to switch between the Avengers Initiative and Campaign modes. This completely fixed the issue for me as the campaign loaded and once I returned to the main menu then I could again resume the campaign normally from the Campaign option.

P.S. This v460.15 seems to work well in conjunction with my restored profiles from the v452.06 (using the NVIDIA 3D SLI Profile Tool) but is it better to use this or the v452.22 hotfix? This is listed as a game-ready driver but does it have all the fixes from the v452.06 branch?

I would like to keep this for now as it allows Cemu to use real-time shader compilation under Vulkan, something not supported by the v452.06 driver.

From Astyanax post earlier the core branch is 450.x something so you would be missing the later 452.x branch and these fixes probably a part of both 452.06 and these few additional fixes in the 452.22 driver if you require them.
Windows Subsystem Linux (WSL) and related to development and such but I don't know what the core of the driver would be or what additions it could have on top of the branch it's based on even if it's a bit older.

452.22 is what I'd recommend but I would usually always recommend the latest available driver for the fixes included unless you suffer some very problematic regression or specific problem but in that case sending a report over should also see it investigated and if detailed enough the issue can then be replicated and fixed for a later driver release. :)

That and I also wouldn't use peak performance or benchmark differences as a major decision point but I'll usually prioritize fixes over performance short of breaking issues or major performance decreases in actual games or problems around some of these new fun features like Hardware GPU Scheduling. (Impressive to see NVIDIA resolving some of the issues with that on the driver side too would have expected it to be more on Microsoft and unbreaking stuff on their end for some of this due to how it's done.)

EDIT: Short of Vulkan or D3D12 and more specific GPU related driver bits and important updates due to low level API's and whoops we broke something I don't think it's too important though.
(Horizon Zero Dawn for example though the developers are patching it up pretty well now.)

Vulkan and the 1.2.130 something version should be supported too but outside of some specific cases using the latest newest extensions (Emulation, DXVK.) it's not too important to have the newest here which would require the VLK beta driver also on a earlier branch.

Effectively the code base for D3D9 to D3D11 should be really solid. :)
Course the actual games and specific issues here or such errors and whatever else that might be problematic well that's going to be less so.
(Thus requiring driver side intervention and fixes until/if patched like the Avenger issue which it seems got both a driver solution in 452.22 and then also a patch to resolve it fully from the game itself almost at the same time.)

460.15 insider driver has fan issues on my 1080Ti , same problem as NVIDIA Developer 460.15 driver.

The change resolution option in the nvidia control panel is no longer available on my system when DSR is used at 1.20 and resolution is set to 4206x1440.

Fans not reporting speed here either with 2070. Played a few games and temps seem fine, so it appears that the fans are working, just not reporting speeds. Used Afterburner & HWInfo.

Is this (460.15) now the latest developer (insider) driver?
Otherwise it works for me, no fan rpm display, but it is working.
