Hahahaaha you made my day, that titlebar seems really OP. It will even gonna crush 3090 SLI.

I'd rather have this space used for cooling.

So reviews were pushed back not to interfere with ARM acquisition news?

No it was because international reviewers experienced delays in shipment of the cards to them. So it was delayed to give them equal footing.

I kind of need it now. I can always switch to the newer gpu later on with the type of warranty I am getting. All I will lose is the money I paid for the warranty, which I am okay with.

From what I've read the top fan spins backwards to reduce the noise and reduce the heat going directly into 'some peoples' CPU watercooled AIO..

I think they missed a 'trick' here -- if you could swap the fan blades to ones that 'scoop' air the traditional way for people who don't mind a little more noise but want lower temps everyone would be happy

** all it would have taken was for the fan blades to have a hole both sides and then you push the fan blades on the way you want them... maybe next time ;-)

I don't see any AIB partner card with only 2x8pins having any overclocking range given how close the card already are to the 380Watts cap.

Any thought on that guys?

^I would think the mb slot and two 8 pins would feed 380+ with out issues.

I agree. Reminds me of 780 ti's with only one 8 pin and one 6 pin - you could increase power target by 6% xD

No need for conspiracy theories unless there's actual proof of anything else. Conspiracy theories go nowhere and just muddy the water needlessly.

The MB pci port goes up to 75Watts last time i checked.
Looking up right now it seems that the 8pins can provide much more than what i remembered given you're not using splitters.

288W per 8 pins let a comfortable headroom.

yeah I have melted a few 8 pins in my time you just have to love the old days of adding 450-470 watts bios limit to a card.
but as I said and as you know 380 with 2 8 pins you will be fine
besides the silicon it will be the bios power limits and any throttling that will be the first obstacle to over clocking
well pretty sure alex has the o/c software under control so that's really the first thing on a good overclock

Hola Gino , nice to see you around again :) . Yes the power limits on the bios will be the big obstacle , up to the aib partners to provide a good overclocking bios with some headroom or shunt mod ( better yet :D )

Are Best Buy and Nvidia the only places that will have the 3080 FE in the US on Thursday? That’s all I’ve been able to find so far.

    hey man how you doing
not sure what I am going to do with my card yet, well I will see how much it helps to run it at -50 or so but just for added fun factor:D
probably asus will be first with custom goodies but kp and msi will get good stuff out too
out of the game awhile and in no rush for an fe card so lets see how it goes
