NVIDIA Snags Away Market Share From AMD, now sells 80 percent of dedicated GPUs

    A little surprised to see AMD so low. Don't they usually have pretty good offerings in the budget category?

    Better driver support for the last few years, too. I'm also surprised. I figured they'd have at least 35 percent of the market. Must be that blockbuster long list of 8 whole titles running ray tracing in some form that can't get playable frames in 4k that got all of us to the green side. I'm guilty.

    I bought a string of nvidia cards when they didn't bend you over a barrel and now I am not interested in paying their prices. AMD was the better option this time by a country mile. Yes, I guess that's funny.

    Many people felt that they would be missing on something if they had card unable to do DX-R. Many bought DX-R enabled card that was not very good at it. And with Next gen, many more DX-R cards will become too weak.
