Age of Empires III Definitive Edition Arrives in October

I don't really see the point, the graphics of 3 are still good today.

 

It's more then just a remaster, though just because it looks decent today, doesn't mean it can't look better.

But it does include more content as well.

 

I see, the content additions I was not aware of.

 

I was going to comment here that it's not a lot of additional content as far as i can tell, and hope it's not more then $19.99, and it, indeed, is $19.99...but i gotta be honest, pricing seems....odd....

 

One of the new civilisations is playing as Swedes, how great ain't that!

 

might be a discount for owners of the original?

how it went to 42 gigs of storage. Wasn't it fitting on a cd?

 

3 states it needs 12GB

And i believe it had 3 DVDs, not CDs.

I really would be surprised if it is 42GB, though....it does look like there's quite a bit of higher quality, probably 4K, new cinematic footage, which does take up a lot of space...

 

AOE3 was on CD's, i have the originals.

 

I really liked AOE3 and still play it occasionally. Will buy this

Base was 3 CD's, the expansions were a CD each

 

I really hoped that we would be getting new campaigns or extension of the Asian dynasties or something.......only played the previous two because of this, well who knows maybe I shall give it a shot again this time!

 

Deff going to buy this.

 

Nice I just recently replayed through this now i can play it again.

 

Was really hoping for some news or release date of Age of Empires 4
