Though the photos show an "outlandishly" large graphics card, I still appreciate that they were posted here. Beyond that, I can only say that I'm really, really looking forward to Hilbert's professional review of the 3090!

Don't you suppose AMD themselves are looking to see how much people are willing to spend on the 3K series before pricing their own cards?
i'd take a 3060 over any console, a 3060 is basically what i have right now.
not to mention putting words in my mouth and calling me 'you people' wth lol :p

This thing would only fit and work on a TRX40 board as SLI is too big for any normal ATX board to fit second.

Also maybe at last NV moved to PCIe SLI like AMD has done since 2013!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't forget that Navi 10 was supposed to come out September 2018. Failed to do so due to issues, requiring re-spins and more power than normal. The Xbox X series APU power consumption is a good indication where the 52CUs standing and with the CPU part, I/O controller, 52CU GPU and all other parts (board, drives etc), less than 300W.

Look given the consoles prices, a 52CU AMD GPU shouldn't be over $500.

Some people still think size matters..... Can't wait to see the posts from people bragging about how big their "new" graphics card is....

That's fake..... AMD would never put that many fans on a reference card. If it was real, it'd only have 1 fan

According to GPU-Z, my 1660Ti actually consumed more power than my RX5700....

    Stupidity would be my guess....

You call nvidia users stupid for paying big bucks, we call amd users stupid for accepting AMD drivers.

One of my 5 fingers is for Nvidia :) Now guess which one, it's not the thumb up.

Really, 1400$ for a graphic chip ??? There are far better things in life to explore for less money. Wake up !

I'm in £600 for a 3070, cyberpunk and control, if it wasn't for them i'd be happy right now at 1440p.
My case is kinda small so hoping for a nice evga aftermarket.

Sorry to break it to you guys, but this 30xx generation will have even worse performance to price ratio than the previous 20xx
Why? Because they can. And because there are ppl who love to bend over and say HARDER!
    Enjoy the raping.

    That's a big misconception.

The significant majority who had issues last autumn with their Navi cards were those used B450/X470 boards with Ryzen 3000 keeping pcie auto settings on their motherboard and refused to switch manually to 3.0. All these issues were gone when BIOS dropped in Oct-Nov on all B350/450 X370/470 motherboards removing the 4.0 support.

Those using Intel & X570 boards didn't had "unexplained driver issues".

The reddit is there just need to search for the period.

    What console pricing?

Maybe the consoles end up being $500 after all but we have no way of knowing that, and given the chicken race between Sony and Microsoft about who can drag out the reveal the longest it seems quite unlikely.

I'd bet more on the $749-$999 range than $500 myself.

Nvidia hasn't really lowered prices much, they introduced the Super cards at lower prices but only the 2060 actually dropped, along with the 5600 release, IIRC. AMD, meanwhile, introduced the new midrange at $400 as opposed to $250.

So what's the basis for expecting cheap consoles?

AMD, the "cheap" brand in this comparison, wants $400 for a 250 square mm midrange graphics card with 40 CUs. But the 360 square mm, 52 CU (56 before culling) next-gen APU bundled with, well, an entire computer is going to be just slightly more?

Maybe it will, I wouldn't put money down on that though.

why such a huge cooler if the heat is being dispersed back into the case.
anyway isnt this card suppose to be efficient so no need for a huge cooler...
