Hard to tell right now, all we have is Rumors-Leaks.
    IMhO:

Big Navi will have 16GB (HBM2 or GDDR6) and it will be in 3 or 4 variants.
    Ampere will get:
    3080Ti 16GB
    3080 12GB then the rest...

I can't tell RDNA2 Performance but it should land at 3080 (in worst case scenario) or at ~3080<->3080Ti (best assumption).
Can't see if ATI can beat nV in RT, but maby it's also possible

by reducing the amount of Int units the die realestate can use a higher ratio of FP32 cores, raising the FP32 Tflops when combined with a higher clockrate (1900-2100Mh)

3.1 billion players and 1.5 billion PC gamers: the game market has now reached an impressive size.
There are particularly many players in Asia, but Europe follows in second place.
Console gamers are also of particular interest despite their small number.

Anyone who believes that video games are still a niche market will be taught a lesson by a study by the market research company DFC Intelligence : According to a current report by the company,
there are now almost 3.1 billion players in the world. Of the currently 7.8 billion people, around 40 percent have contact with video games.

Almost every second person plays on the PC
Most of these players do not use the PC or a game console, but "only" the smartphone. Anyone who occasionally plays Sudoku at the bus stop should also count as a player for the study.
But the numbers for PC and console gamers are still impressive.

According to DFC Intelligence, 48 percent of the players (also) play on the PC, an impressive 1.5 billion people. Eight percent and thus around 248 million players (also) rely on a console.
Overlaps between the individual groups are possible, so many players should belong to two or even all three categories.

Most of the players come from Asia: The continent is way ahead with 1.42 billion. In second place is Europe with 668 million players, followed by Latin America with 383 and North America with 261 million players.
With regard to monetization, Asia is particularly interesting, which can be seen, among other things, from various special versions for the Chinese market.
In addition, console gamers are also of great importance: Although they are the smallest group, console users spend the most money on average.

    Wot?

According to Wikipedia there's ~740 million people, full stop, in Europe.

They have to either count categories separately as different "players" or include territories outside of traditional "Europe" here.

Chiphell has posted what seems to be an alleged performance chart of the GeForce RTX 30 series lineup which includes the GeForce RTX 3090, GeForce RTX 3080, GeForce RTX 3070 Ti, GeForce RTX 3070 & the GeForce RTX 3060.
The chart claims to be an average performance measurement of the graphics cards purely in gaming benchmarks at various resolutions from 1080p and all the way up to 4K.
It also showcases the performance per watt gains for each respective generation.
Again, this chart should be taken with a grain of salt as the information on performance is yet to be verified.

Interesting indeed ;) (It can be true if we subtract 10% -the safe bet-)

Honestly i don't really believe that 3080 will be 30% faster than 2080Ti BTW....
That will mean we have same uplift like in 7xx/9xx era.
It also means that this will be great upgrade for Vega/1080 users.

    Note (some History):

    IIRC:
    S3 Virge 4MB then Voodoo 12MB
Then was GeForce 32..64 and then some more GF as well as some ATI.
ATI was very good with 9800Pro then was Geforce 6800 (DX9c for NFS UG2) then ATI again HD1950Pro w/Omega drivers & ATT Tweaker (was better for me than GF7800).
Then HD 3800 then Geforce 285 (That was beast ! 90deg C lol) then was HD 5850 (First DX11 GPU!) then 7970GHz (First 1GHz GPU!), Fury (First HBM GPU!) & now Vega XTX (Some fancy tech inside).
So now is time for me to get some Geforce experience (First DX12 Ultimate GPU with RT!) :p (If priced right of course).

So the 3090 60% edit, 40% faster @ 4K then the 2080TI. that's a nice gain (propbably due Raytrace influence in the benchmarksuit).
If AMD manage to archief 2x5700XT perf for the Big Navi/R6900, it will be a close call.
